    Moon Elves

I think the new FR book, Races of Faerun, goes into more detail on each of the elven races.

    Drow Mating ??

Yes, they were. However, I think it also stated that muls were not born from a natural coupling between the two races, but a product of forced breeding intermixed with the dark rituals of the witch-kings.

    Drow Mating ??

Check out the FR supplement, Dwarves Deep. It briefly goes into the infertility problems of the Dwarven races and how some clans began taking human wives after learning these unions were often more "fertile" and that the union merely produced tall dwarves.

    Ranger Favoured Enemy

 Ouch! That creates a very specialized niche for generally screwing or outright offing multiclass characters. Hmmm...15th level ranger, Favored enemy I = human, Favored enemy II = barbarians, Favored enemy III = arcanists. Total Favored Enemy bonus when working over a...

    Ranger Favoured Enemy

Thank goodness the existing stacking rules (e.g., no stacking of the same type of bonus) would put the ix-nay on at-thay.

    Portable Hole

A cool and very useful item indeed! This seems more like a Portable Passwall. Therefore, I would suggest using the cost of a use-activated Passwall as the basis of pricing the item.

    Portable Hole

Here's my 2cp. Strictly an IMHO extrapolation on the known facts, mind you. It is well-documented that portable holes and bags of holding do not get along. Magic isn't science (even if it is bound by rigid game mechanics for purposes of balance). Given this, none but the most insane have...

    Ranger Favoured Enemy

I could also see this hosing multiclass characters. Just as an example, a barbarian/sorcerer would be in double jeopardy. If the ranger had a favored enemy of "barbarians" OR "arcanists" he's hosed.

    Drow Mating ??

In Second Edition AD&D, it was explicitly stated that elves and orcs could produce no offspring. I believe this was listed in the elves' Monstrous Compendium listing, but it may have been in the Complete Book of Elves. Two disclaimers: 1: I have yet to see anything so explicit in any 3E...

Feinting in combat and dual sneak attack?

Normally, feinting is a Standard action. The bonus (rather, the opponent's penalty, according to how you look at it) applies on your next attack. You do not get a bonus attack for feinting, just a bonus that is applied to your next attack. The Gladiator PrC, mentioned above, allows Feinting...

    Feats with negative requirements

How about one for INT 9- called "Idiot Savant", allowing the character to ignore maximum ranks in a craft or profession skill. lol.:D

    Continual Light

Continual Light lost its balance when used as a means to permanently blind an opponent (an all-too common occurence in my 2nd Ed. campaigns). Given this, I would make sure it was at *least* a level higher than Blindness/Deafness.

Is the Sorceror as bad as I think?

I'd say this issue simply boils down to a matter of style and preference. Personally, I prefer playing wizards. I am a planner, and I'd take the vast selection of spells over number I can cast any day. I'd never even dream of playing a sorcerer, because the limited spell selection would...

    How many starting spells?

Stricly speaking, the only spells that should be free are the wizard 1 spells (cantrips and 3+Int bonus level 1, i think, but don't have book in front of me) and the two selections granted by each additional wizard level. Any others should cost 200gp/spell level out of the character's starting...

Feats : Core Class vs Prestige Class.

You need to be careful not to confuse character level with class level. A character gains only the class benefits for the respective level attained in each class. Character level grants its own feat and attribute progression. Class level dictates all other progression. To elaborate, say...

    R&R Flame Bolt

I would say the first only. It should work just like the FAQ you read about the shuriken. Although several attacks are being launched at the very same moment, only one of them can be directed with the precision to gain the extra bonuses.

    Speed Up Item Creation

I don't have the FR book with me at the momemtn, but I think the Magical Artisan feat specifies it modifies the gp and xp costs only, not affecting the overall time.

Great Cleave or Whirlwind Attack vs. Mirror Image

Please help settle an issue for my gaming group. Relevant portions of Mirror Image (PHB, p. 229): "The figments stay near you and disappear when struck." "Enemies attempting to attack you or cast spells at you must select from among indistinguishable targets." "Any successful attack roll...

Full round attacks and delaying an action.

Re: aborted full attack According to the Sword and Fist supplement, you don't have to specify whether you are doing a Full Attack until after you have made your first attack.
