Oh no you are perfectly right. Aerdiaak is the worst change by far. Any of us could rename it better. My other gripes are purely semantic. Like adding "north" seems to be a compromise for dropping "barbarian". I kinda like Arn though I'm dismayed to no longer see Blackmoor enshrined up there...

New map labels are good for the most part. Aerdi(ACK) aside. The addition of classic adventure locations can only help promote the setting as well.

Some of the changes to the Greyhawk map are cringe to my eyes but overall I'm cool with this. Plus Mike Schley is a good artist and he can sell his own work at cons I believe. So...:rolleyes:

Facts. Though iirc the OG folio has no cultural info, or gods for that matter. Given the City of GH is supposedly featured on one side of this map, that place alone could eat up any word count.

Haha yeah true, Morrus. It just struck me funny, as someone who works in the court system (but not an attorney) I'm constantly amazed how terminology can vary from state to state.

I'm not a lawyer but shouldn't that be "withdraws" lawsuit. Again, I could be wrong, but I believe it's the judge who decides whether a case is dismissed or not, and with or without prejudice.

Agreed on the DMGuild snub. They put out one adventure set in Barovia and all of Ravenloft is fair game on DMsGuild. The early section on GoS references quite a bit Greyhawk history, sets up Greyhawk factions and the maps feature regional Greyhawk geography. Never mind the module storylines...

Just came on here to say great topic Snarf Zagyg! I've been beating the fandom drums with Greyhawk deep dives for a few editions now. So I love to see so many other people weighing in and discussing the setting. Keep it up guys!
