I think you should include the Classic Revisited books (Monsters, Horrors, Treasures, etc ...) as they give informations related to those subjects in Golarion.

The Complete Scoundrel (if I remember correctly) has some thieves' tools mounted on 10-ft pole. They give you a malus on Open Lock and Disamr Traps checks but you can then be out of reach of most traps when you try to deal with traps.

Almost that but Magic Items creation also requires skill checks (appropriate craft or spellcraft). The DC ca be increased to ignore a pre-requisite for the item creation. A failure on the check can lead to the creation of a cursed item.

They don't !! The line you quoted is a bug. There is the same problem about the 4h of trance to rest => they were removed (elves now sleep 8h in PRPG) but there is still a mention of their trance in the rules.

I always make a log of my character's adventures. Usualy, I keep notes of : - goal of the adventure, and notable facts about it - PCs of the party, who they are and what my character thinks about them (like/neutral/dislike/hate/to kill on sight) - notable NPCs - important rewards or losses
