I'm always a bit confused about the utility of Quicken Power. It's a full round action to gain psionic focus, and quicken expends the focus... so doesn't that make Quicken Power something of a one-shot deal? Have I overlooked something?

I'm hoping we at least find out why on earth Osiris wanted Rakhefet freed, and whether this was somehow a fair bargain. (1/4 of a life-debt = free a dark god and kill yourself?? There must be more to it.)

And that sense of betrayal comes across very clearly in the story hour, don't you think? ;)

Absolutely. Also, I don't REALLY mind multiple updates for the combat. I was just bemoaning my eager anticipation, in an "Argh, cliffhanger!" sort of way. :)

Doesn't seem sustainable, and story hours die frequently because of the amount of effort required. If you want the "feel" of it, perhaps it would be better to post the first verse of each post in epic meter, then continue in prose.

I keep seeing unfamiliar weapon mods, like sizing and crazed. Which books are legal for your campaign?

Very nice update! I only cringe at haveing to wait two or three more whole updates before we see the Count's comeuppance,... but at least it sounds like there will be some nice comeuppance hors d'ovres next time.

Well, one of the things I liked so much was the parallelism of the races: one elemental-touched race, one demihuman race, one servitor race (i.e. demons, eladrin), etc. for each of the gods / planes / etc. Got me thinking about what the parallel "elemental" race to the elves would be; the best...

Hey, ledded, I don't know where you got that idea! Anyway, I'm still here and enjoy your stories, I just don't want to guilt you too much when real life gets in the way of writing. Guess it's that careful balance between being too demanding, and not encouraging enough.

*chuckle* Nice. :) So, I know you've all been close friends for a long time. Still, was there any awkwardness with playing the Morningstar / Dranko relationship? Did you go out of your way to be sensitive to the real relationships at the table, or was it never much of an issue?
