    Everquest 1,200 spells?

This tells me that they probably didn't just resurect the old 'weapon speed' system. Actually I expect something much more usable, possible a tiered approach along the lines of Very Fast/Fast/Normal/Slow/Very Slow modifiers to initiative. Just guessing, but that would fit with several other...

    (Mongoose) Slaine and Judge Dredd

Limited Ed. Slaine cover I would say that wicker would probably be an appropriate cover material for Slaine so that after 7 years you could burn it, but of course no one in their right mind would burn a Slaine book. Hmmm.....how about covering it in Slaine's cast off, sweat and blood stained...

    (Mongoose) Slaine and Judge Dredd

Slaine! I have reviewed the new cover and find it pleasing! If the game itself lives up to the expectations that I have for it after flipping thru Judge Dredd, then there will be much rejoicing and the ale will flow freely. But if not, I shall hop in my Sun Chariot and travel over the World...

    PA bought back Primal Order?

I was reading the news and saw that Peter Adkinson had bought back Primal Order. When did this happen and has anything been said about publishing it again?

    "The Savage Caves" book review

Let me start by saying that in general I have been pretty disappointed by the general quality of D&D novels over the years. While I don't expect Pullitzer prize winning quality from your average D&D book, I do expect the plot in books I buy to at least make a nod toward coherence and to do a...

What are You Looking Forward To?

Assasin's Handbook by Green Ronin (LOVED the Shaman's book) Chainmail rulebook Slaine RPG by Mongoose (Over the top, pseudo-celtic....what more can you ask for?) EQ RPG (for the alt. classes) Dragonstar Galaxy Guide Just about anything SKR gets around to publishing.

    Dragonstar d20 vs Spelljammer d20

Dragonstar is D&D as space opera. Still high in fantasy elements but in a 'Star Wars' kind of high tech fantasy way. Spelljammer is swashbuckling fantasy in space. For some reason makes me think of 'John Carter of Mars' (more of a feel than an actual match).

    POLYHEDRON: Favorite Designers

    1) I don't buy everything that comes out from any author. That having been said, anything by the following authors automatically goes on my "I must check that out/probably buy" list: Sean Reynolds - Slavers. After that book, I will automatically check out anything SKR is associated with...

EQ RPG: It's Your World Now...

I think this is a good thing. I always liked the EQ world, I just got incredibly tired of various problems with the MMORG format (camping, the need to dedicate your life to playing if you were going to progress, lag, etc.). Wonder how they will address multiclassing, since EQ doesn't have it...

    Wizards' boards down?

Ah! A lovely cup of English Breakfast this morning. The temperature is just right, almost but not quite scalding my tongue. The liquor has that perfect, rich color and aroma. No milk this time though (I only rarely use milk). And of course I have not defiled my wonderful morning cuppa with...

    Bard vs Bard

I like the concept of Monte's new bard, but the execution leaves me a bit cold. The spellsong idea is great, but as presented guts the bard as a useful PC caster. And no, I don't think that 2 more skill points and evasion make up for the power loss.

    Wizards' boards down?

As Lord of the Hot Tea Drinkers, I welcome all of your consumption of the beverage of the gods. I don't sweeten tea and only occasionally add milk at breakfast. Personal favorites: English Breakfast Russian Caravan Prince of Wales Utterly dispise: Earl Grey Herbal anything P.S. I was...

LOTR RPG: anyone planning on getting the AG?

I picked it up tonight at a fairly significant discount. On the one hand it is a very good, simple introduction to the concept of role-playing. On the other hand, it is totally worthless if you have any clue how to play a role-playing game. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing since it is...

    D20 Spelljammer

Thanks for taking the time to drop by and clarify things a bit Erik. 'Spider Moon' sounds pretty neat and I look forward to checking it out. As always, we really appreciate you and the rest of the guys at WotC taking the time to drop by and indulge our curiosity.

    AV's thread: Reverse-engineer D20 Modern for D&D?

I would very much like to see rules for using the 'modern' rules in D&D, but not at the cost of space in the 'modern' book. PDF seems the best way to go and provides the obligatory web enhancement at the same time.

D20 Modern interview - Anthony Valterra

Thanks for asking the questions Eric. And thank Mr. Valtera for answering. I am definitely curious to see how this ends up working out.

Quickly, people: your questions on D20 Modern

I wonder if one of the 'models' included will be an expanded version of the 'Greyhawk 2000' article from Dragon.
