I am pretty sure I remember Mearls saying something about the Ray of Frost being either a Half-elf related feature or feat...something about being a dabbler in magic... That was at my 1st 4E game at DnDXP, so I was still devouring the character sheets and may have mis-heard him. -Matt

Oooh. Kinda forgot about this. Meals and Heinsoo both confirmed at DnDXP that 4E magic throwing weapons all are considered 'returning'... which I like. No more throwing your expensive magic weapon at monsters and then forgetting it for the rest of the encounter. -Matt

Either Mearls or Heinsoo mentioned at one of our tables that they thought the 8 damage thing was a misprint, and that it was supposed to be d8...which puts it in line with other powers we saw. -Matt

We asked about the line-of-sight issue at our table (DM'd by Rob Heinsoo), and he confirmed that my Eladrin Ranger could NOT teleport through a closed door. I think it's safe to say that it will take higher level spells or Rituals to do 'blind' teleporting. - Matt
