I had a goblin mascot in my first campaign of DnD (BECMI). The DM made me roll for my MU spell, I got Floating Disc. I saved all our lives and picked up a mascot goblin by giving them rides on it :) It was actually a really useful spell, being able to carry 500lbs!

I wish I had the money to back, oh well, I will see once it is out in the wild

No final art, I don't liked the blurry style either, which seems to be de rigueur at the moment. The world is blurry enough at 50, I don't need art imitating life in that way. Mumble grumble

I had 'I'm a monster, rawr' as my phone notification for a long time! Also gnomes, and only gnomes, can be Illusionists/thieves - the best class combo!

OA was an inspiring book, I hope it is redone, and redone well. It will be hard for WotC to do, as they are scrutinized much more* as the 500lb gorilla, but I hope they rise to the challenge! * Rightly so

I'm not a fan of Tyler's art style, the messy unfinished edges, but it still looks good and says DnD. Trad 4 classes... And a dwarf. I do like his back page one on the back of the dragon, the guy with the axe looks terrified! There is also some great location art in the article, really varied...

What I find amusing, more than male/female, is his/her armour has grown longer ;) I also thought it was the same guy from 0 to hero, tho taking on a dragon when level 1-3 was pretty crazy!
