I agree it's fine as is, Leader is a secondary role for a Paladin, Sacred Circle is great if you don't have a cleric and need that buff, Even if you do it's nice if the cleric has already spent his. That said, we houseruled it to also give +1 to death saves (Which feels right to us anyway).
