When you say that the company specializes in "heroic" enterprises, I assume that means we are generally good? We're -mercenaries-, so I assume no one will be taking Vow of Poverty, but is a shady nature required, favored, not desired, or is alignment just up in the air?

So, get an 18 Int :D Or, go Wiz 2/Human Paragon 3/Mindbender1/etc. Sack a caster level for +2 to Int, some HP, and the skill set you need for Mindbender.

No, what you do is Wiz5/Mindbender1/Ur-Priest 2/MT10/something else two. That way you get telepathy, and you know that's more fun, anyway. At 18th level you're CL 16 for Wiz, 20 for Ur-Priest.
