Jodo Kast's Savage Tidings (Updated July 9, 2007)

Carb: Thanks for the comment, I'm glad someone is reading and enjoying our humble adventures! Updates aren't as frequent as I would like, but the roleplay has been terrific. Thanks to the Paizo folks behind the Savage Tide Adventure Path, and especially to my players for going above and beyond...

Jodo Kast's Savage Tidings (Updated July 9, 2007)

Monster on the Loose Rubbumba raced to Zhandlegarrii's side. She spread her arms, expecting an embrace, but instead Rubb's nimble hands went about the work of buttoning Zhandle's blouse. "There there, darling -- can't be fighting pirates looking like a floozy. That's much better." Zhandle's...

Jodo Kast's Savage Tidings (Updated July 9, 2007)

Scion of Orcus: A Savage Interlude Already a member of a savage, brutal people, Gaulish descended into depravity that even other orcs shunned. Reared to replace her mother as Medicine Woman for her tribe, she found her submissive roll in the orcish hierarchy far too restrictive to suit her...

Jodo Kast's Savage Tidings (Updated July 9, 2007)

Metagame Character Information I've attached the character write-ups provided by the players for Rubbumba, Zhandlegarri and Jouko here, if anyone's interested. Also, thought I would let everyone know that we are playing using Fantasy Grounds. One of the great things about FG is that it keeps...

Jodo Kast's Savage Tidings (Updated July 9, 2007)

Trouble on the Blue Nixie Kora Whistlegap knocked gently at the door to the room in which Rubbumba and Zhandlegarri slept. Hearing no answer, she tried again, a bit more forcefully. Finally she opened the door just a little and peered in. To her dismay, she saw Rubb lying on the floor, a large...

Jodo Kast's Savage Tidings (Updated July 9, 2007)

A Noble In Need Rubbumba and Zhandlegarrii easily found Vanderboren Manor in the eastern section of the Merchant District. The seven-foot high stone wall surrounding the estate was impossible to miss, as was the towering, gothic three-story house that dominated the grounds within. Leering...

Jodo Kast's Savage Tidings (Updated July 9, 2007)

An Unexpected Party The halflings Rubbumba and Zhandlegarri relaxed in their humble, but comfortable, living quarters, sipping herbal tea and trying to recover after their brief and harrowing adventure in Shadowshore. "I never want to see a rat again in my life," said Zhandle with an...

    A Twist in the Myth

B? Draz: Are you by any chance the artist formerly known as Cthulu Ftaghn? If so, I've been trying to get in touch with you, but it's been more difficult than expected. I lost my old address book and numbers, and none of the e-mail addresses I have for you work. If this is indeed you, send...

First Sight: A d20 Modern Story Hour (Updated 01-03-2008)

"For the first time in three hundred years a novitiate, much less two are presented to us and both are lost," the Sister said as she sat in her accustomed chair, her face betraying great weariness. "Mary may yet be saved." "You believe the old books survived?" "Until very recently I thought...

First Sight: A d20 Modern Story Hour (Updated 01-03-2008)

As for these boards, Lamprolign will continue to post Story Hour updates, but I will be doing only minimal editing and story input. I'm largely in charge of scripting the First Sight webcomic now. I've taken the essence of the Story Hour posts and attempted to come up with a tighter, more...

First Sight: A d20 Modern Story Hour (Updated 01-03-2008)

Funny Broccli, hadn't thought of the Hulk's "Mr. Fixit" days in a while. That was a weird, weird run. Looking forward to Ang Lee's big-screen version. I have my doubts, but I'm trying to remain optimistic. Also can't wait for X2 this weekend. Thanks for the comments everyone, they are...

Very cool stuff. I think the asides with further information about the setting are always a nice touch in Story Hours.

    Who's your favorite D&D/WOTC artist?

Elmore was the master circa the original Dragonlance modules and Chronicles trilogy. Wayne Reynolds now defines the look and feel of D&D for me. His work captures action extremely well, and the level of detail is terrific. WAR.
