But seriously, I believe it was a deliberate choice back in the day. Set it in the real(ish) world, give it more emotional impact., make it more relatable.

There's a few things on Disney+ I want to watch now. I suspect I'll have to do a rearranging of my streaming services and rotate them in.

Dark Matter (don't they call it something different in the comics?) also shows up in at least one episode of Agents of SHIELD.

Liked it a lot. A tight plot and a solid theme running through it. Great on screen chemistry between the characters. I especially loved Pugh & Harbour together. And yes, they kept the CGI fight fest to a minimum. Very restrained.
