Thanks Dave, we've used a lot of MT Black's stuff and I would highly recommend, particulary The Lich Queen's Begotten and Riddle of the Raven Queen. We're already using Avernus Encouters and I will point the DM in the direction of the other stuff.

Thanks for that. Our DM has used Avernus Encounters in Avernus liberally. We generally use the Adept stuff to pad out the hardbacks. The companion thing they do each one is particularly good. I'll pass on the Incursion one though.

That is an option actually, (and slight spoiler for my lurking players) but I am going to use Phandalin with material from Lost Mines and Essentials as the above ground early part of Night Below to save conversion effort. Still feels a bit off that our only option is to replay stuff though.

I like the AiME stuff and love Middle Earth in general but if I was going to play ME I would prefer a different system and if to going to convert I might aswell convert an absolute nailed on classic like Night Below or something.

Maybe we get through a lot but every other year has been fine because there has been a big summer AP release plus an anthology type release in the spring. This year, unless they surprise us, it will be a full year between adventure releases .... That just seems like the wrong balance to me

We mixed a little bit of Shadows into our Saltmarsh campaign, it's very good. We like the look of Odyssey book would be a big change in aesthetic for us.

As I mention in my OP some of our players have played a lot of AL. Myself and another guy in the group run the local AL so we have run or played in every Season so far, even down to a lot of the Epics. I realise that I am a heavy user but I just don't think unreasonablly so.
