Nice review. A minor detail: Dark Heresy was first among the current FFG rpgs. Then came Rogue Trader, Deatwatch and now Black Crusade. /M

There are a lot of interface elements, such as buttons, and images, that are still made to look good in black, even if the background is white. That will strain the eyes and create a dissonance with the reader. I am not opposed to a white design, but it needs to be designed for white, not...

But WotC is ranked higher? Maybe the sales of the Red Box makes up a large chunk of WotC sales, maybe even larger than Dragon Age? And maybe Dragon Age suffered because Red Box ate up a lot of market? No way to tell, I think. /M

It seems that the rumour is that an announcement by WotC was abruptly cancelled, and that the announcement was connected to 5e. I can conceive of a credible scenario where this would happen, but I haven't got any inside information so it'd be just speculation. /M

How come? It's the book that's at the pointy end of the stick, not 4e players. If anyone feels the books are not worth more than using as a hygienic supplement, why should I as a 4e player feel insulted? I am not the book, after all. /M

Especially if one can do that and get away with charging more than WotC did, and still keep the fans happy. ;) /M
