Adding Flavor by Using Templates to Increase or Decrease the CR of 5e Monsters

You are Mike Mearls and I claim my £5. I'll be taking these formulae for a trial run later ;-)

    D&D 2E 2e Complete Books Conversions

I can see you have added some Feats, etc., and in some places listed them in the suggestions for a kit build. It would be good to identify those Feats as described in your e-books, otherwise it might cause confusion for some people. Other than that - great work! Treat yourself to a sausage butty!

D&D 5E Access to Races in a Campaign

I don't allow tieflings, as they are not very Greyhawk. If anyone wanted to play a Dagonborn, I would treat them as "half-dragons" in the sense that they had draconic powers but looked mostly human. That does have a GH heritage.

    D&D 5E Pre-generated characters - a character sheet format question

I think you do need to put the Save DC of character's spells prominently on your sheet: I guess if it says somewhere else that the Dwarven Cleric's spell save DC is 13, then putting Save in the Attack column isn't such a bad thing. You probably do need to put in what sort of save the opposing...

    D&D 5E D&D-ish novels?

Either I've missed it, or we've got to page 5 without a mention of Robert E. Howard's Conan series yet. There's another hero rarely in the market for saving the world, merely stealing jewels, getting the girl and getting the heck out of Dodge. Most of the other candidates have been mentioned...

    D&D 5E Swappable archetypes

I think the problem with mix-and-match archetypes is that some get a lot of level-based benefits, whilst others get fewer. It might create under-or over-powered PC's if it were allowed. That said, a generic "adventurer" archetype, which could be applied to any character without making them...

D&D 5E The use of Monster Stat Blocks in Adventures

I dislike flipping between books - or even between pages of books - to get information for an encounter. It slows down the game. Mrs meomwt complains when I have to do it as well. ATM, I'm prepping chunks of T1-4 for our fortnightly game, and I put the statblocks for bad guys into the...

D&D 5E [GUIDE] Dealing Death: Handbook of the True Assassin

This is great work. A suggestion for an assassin taking Ranger levels: the Pass Without Trace spell gives +10 to Dexterity (Stealth) checks, and ensures the caster (and companions) can't be tracked, except by magical means. Great for getting into a camp, fort, etc., unseen (except by the...

    D&D 4E Advice Wanted: 4e fan trying 5e

A Moon Circle Druid can call on some fairly nifty Wild Shapes early on: Bear and Tiger at L3, for instance, can fairly well tank as hard as a fighter (we recently had one join the party and is shining). Druid spells have a good mix of utility, buff and offence. And the other wild shapes...

Perkins' Foreword From OUT OF THE ABYSS

How much Drizz't? Minimal. Given that Lloth and Zuggtmoy both started their infernal lives on Greyhawk, not having notes to convert to that world (c.f. Princes of the Apolcalypse) would be a mis-step from WotC. And for easy conversion to other worlds, the presence of iconics from the FR would...

    D&D 4E 4e Adventures to 5e

Changing monster stats like-for-like shouldn't be a big problem. Look at the balance between PC's and monsters when you do: you might need to adjust the number of bad guys based on PC's and level. And (though I haven't had this myself), solo's don't work too well in 5E (you may need to add...

D&D 5E Greyhawk or the Wilderlands

Post Greyhawk wars is not such a big deal as major changes on other D&D worlds (the various crises which have afflicted the Forgotten Realms, for example). There are some changes to the Free City, and Iuz has a few more realms under his control, but most of the lands west and south are much as...

D&D 5E Best DUNGEON modules, any edition, to convert to 5th?

I had a blast running Dragon's Delve by Christopher Perkins (Dungeon issue 62) as part of an on-going storyline, but it is generally stand-alone. I think the inhabitants are fairly easily to convert from 2E. I also think I DM'ed The Amulet and the Underdark from Dungeon issue 75 (or if not...

D&D 5E Published Campaign Setting or Home Brew?

I'm still using my From the Ashes boxed set as the basis of my Greyhawk games. There's lots of good stuff in there, plus I can pull additional info off the interwebs (with Google-fu, you can find stuff left behind from the Living Greyhawk campaign which can be put to good use). It does help...

    D&D 4E Converting a 4e skill challenge to 5e: looking for suggestions...

[Red Hand of Doom[/i] (the 3E adventure) has a VP structure - what the PC's accomplish during the adventure wins VP, allocated as small awards (taking out a general) to large (preventing the Ghost Lord joining the Horde). The higher the VP total at battle-time, the easier the battle for the...

    D&D 5E Fighter or Bladelock

I've got a Bladelock in the group I'm DM-ing right now, though he hasn't always made the best choices along the line. With a high CHA to power Warlock spells, you can be the party Face as well as the main damage dealer. Take a couple of Social Skills to help things along. Hex is a great...

The City Under the Mountain - A D&D 5E Adventure!

If I'm right, Morrus would have something like a 670 mile round trip to be able to do that. There's relatively small, and there's

D&D 5E Labyrinth-Tomb of the Minotaur Prince (and other random dungeons)

I just downloaded the PDF of the dungeon, and I have to say I'm impressed. I'm really quite annoyed that I can't think of any way of shoe-horning it into my current campaign. It just doesn't fit in with the plots, themes and politics I have established. Oh well: there's always next time!
