I agree. The only reason I didn't vote for it was that it reminded me of the big fish Verme. Maybe if it had been Verdimor or Verdamat or another variety of "Green Death".

Those sound like good HD rules. I'm going to edit the minor god template to reflect them. I also think there could be at least three or four templates to choose from for converting base creatures to new deities, so that there is some variety in the results.
