D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] - Hewards Handy Haversack to be toned down.

Well as somebody pointed out you really couldn't safely store any pointed or bladed weapons in the HHH anyway. Remember that all it takes is one hole poked from the inside and the HHH and everything in it is destroyed. Still I think the new rule is quite reasonable. It's still pretty cheap for...

    D&D 3E/3.5 Illusions in 3.5

You can try to do any of that with an illusion, although some will be more believable then others. A silent image monster will be quickly realized to be fake because it has no sound or tactile illusion. A major image could easily fool somebody even in combat with it, unless they make their save...

    D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5E] Bow & Arrows plusses don't stack anymore!

Well rather then having a 3rd-4th level spell that gives epic level weapons eventualy, it would probably make more sense to create a new higher level spell with a higher cap.

D&D 3E/3.5 Does anyone know confirmed 3.5e Druid changes?

Actualy the blood hawk has wounding, which is probably in some way magical in nature even though it's listed as extraordinary.

    Druid and the Scimitar

I remember somebody explained it once, although I don't remember it exactly. Basicly when they first made druids (long before 3e) they wanted them to be able to use sickles, because that is a classic druid thing. But there were no sickles in the weapon list. So they gave them scimitarsl instead...

    Invisibility and Bat Familiars

Isn't there a rule that if a familiar can see a target, then the wizard can cast spells as if he can see that target as well? I believe this would allow a wizard with a bat familiar to still use targeted spells on invisible enemies, but he certainly would not be able to say shoot them with his...

Wish spell used to become half dragon...

I think if had players try this, the wish would work and the player would be hit a polymorph other and turned into a half dragon. I suspect this is not a legal polymorph, but I'd make an exception here. But of course if somebody hit him with a dispel magic he'd pop back into his original form if...

    Clerical Feats (again)

Ambidexterity also currently requires a dex of 15 which I would not expect from a cleric. Given that you also need a high charisma to get much use of divine might, a high strength and con to fight in battle, and a high wisdom for spellcasting, that might be asking a bit too much.

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 Swarm

I don't know if it's what your looking for, but Fiend Folio has a swarm feature for creatures, and it's supposed to be compatible with 3.5. Personaly i think swarm creatures are the coolest thing in the book.

    D&D 3E/3.5 Stoneskin in 3er

It is an extremely strong spell, but the cost balances it out somewhat. It's still extremely annoying for NPCs to use against you, since they often don't care about the cost. Nothing worse then the enemy mage who stoneskins his entire crew beforehand.

    Arcane spell failure outmoded ?

I think the issue is really just one of flavor. It wouldn't be too unbalanced to let wizards cast spells in armor, any more then it would be unbalanced to make halflings 7 feet tall with green skin. But both things would detract from both classic fantasy and the flavor of the world. I wouldn't...

    D&D 3E/3.5 Helms in 3.5e

Sneak attacks didn't appear in baldur's gate (2e), but they did appear in Icewind Dale 2, which also had anti-crit helms I believe.

    About +1 Animated Tower Shields.

I'd think by the rules the enhancements would still work even if it was animated. You can't have more then one shield protecting you anyway (even animated ones) so it's not unbalancing to allow this. Adding extra pluses can be quite significant because any attack that misses you because of the...

    Please rate Subdual Substitution

I think the key thing alot of people forget is that this feat can be great even if you don't want to keep your enemy alive, because you can just kill them after they are knocked out. A key advantage is that your spell will effect alot of things that otherwise would be immune to your spells. So...

    D&D 3E/3.5 Helms in 3.5e

I don't think they actualy protected you from sneak attacks in the CPRGs just crits. Of course by the rules this should have translated into sneak attack protection as well, but it didn't.

3.5e rangers can't use bow feats in med armor?

"What is a good thing? The armor restriction on ranger's virtual TWF feats? Doubt it." The fact that it makes you think about weither you want to play a ranger like character before just taking a few levels in it to get the feats and other abilities. This is a very good thing. This assumes of...

3.5e rangers can't use bow feats in med armor?

"Arcane Spell Failure chance does not apply to spells with no Somatic Components. Still Spells have no somatic components. Thus, for a +1 level increase, a wizard with Still Spell can prepare any spell he likes and cast it in Full Plate and Large Shield." Of course doing this is still an...

    D&D 3E/3.5 Helms in 3.5e

In that case I'll be sure to put my helmet on if I suddently find myself fighting lots of letters of the alphabet in a strangely random seeming dungeon. More seriously, in some of the D&D computer games, helms will grant some form of protection against critical hits. This is a logical function...

D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5 rumor?] Multiclassing getting "powered up"?

I suspect that they aren't changing multiclassing itself, but they are providing prestige classes that are great for multiclassed characters, like the mystic theurge, arcane trickster and eldritch knight. We don't know what the knight looks like yet but the other two certainly dramaticaly...

    Styptic most useless spell ever?

Exploding familiar was a great spell, especialy if you have a special familiar so you can do an extra point of damage with it. Personaly I always prefered transmute rock to stone though.
