    D&D 5E Goodman Games latest OAR, Grimtooth's Old-School Traps

I don’t think anyone has said anything publicly, but it looks like it.

Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse Review

The weirdest part of that whole thing was that the ‘Spelljammer Academy’ adventure on dndbeyond didnt tie into the slipcase adventure.

Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse Review

Not to nitpick, but didn’t they say they wouldn’t have alt covers ‘initially’? I wouldn’t be shocked to see an alt set for the 2024 holiday season.

D&D 5E Chaotic Origins of the Deck of Many Things, WotC video

Are there more Planescape things in Keys beyond the train?

D&D 5E Chaotic Origins of the Deck of Many Things, WotC video

I think that's just a thing that they do - the one year I bought pretty much everything they put out was 2021, and everything seemed to tie into each other in some way: Tashas had easter eggs for Witchlight, the carnival in Witchlight tied into the carnival in Van Richtens, Tashas had art assets...

[possibly controversial]What is wrong with Vampire the Masquerade 5E?

Just out of historical curiosity, what clans did he like and not like?

[possibly controversial]What is wrong with Vampire the Masquerade 5E?

I didn't see that movie until just a few years ago - it was really hard to get ahold of for a long time - but I finally managed to watch it during the pandemic, and immediately thought, "Oh hey, a nomadic Sabbat war pack." I mean, it's spot on.

D&D General Is there a word for "rule by the bearded"?

I strongly suspect Pogonocracy would be the right word, given that we generally use the terms for kinds of governments Aristotle enumerated.

DDAL 2014 Character Options Will be Playable in AL After the 2024 Release

Oh, I definitely read it and thought, "what on earth is a new player going to make of needing to choose between the 2014 ranger, the Tashas ranger, and the 2024 ranger?" Happy to have been mistaken, frankly.

DDAL 2014 Character Options Will be Playable in AL After the 2024 Release

I just feel bad for the poor kid who, as a first time player, wants to roll up and play a ranger.

DDAL 2014 Character Options Will be Playable in AL After the 2024 Release

I don't play in AL and don't have a horse in the race, but it feels like kind of an odd choice:

Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse Review

I mean, I remember Hickman’s introduction more being about how vampires were supposed to be monsters, not things you can fall in love with because you can change them. Are you sure the near-removal of the Dark Powers was at Hickman’s behest?

Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse Review

I think I'd agree with that. Honestly, I suspect that most of the changes in Ravenloft people didn't care for are really Van Richtens being forced to adopt changes made to the world for Curse of Strahd, which was written with the assumption that it would be the sole Ravenloft book for 5e. The...

Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse Review

I would really enjoy this too - to be clear I haven't read the new Planescape books, but at least so far it sounds like it would be super easy to use them in a home game where I bump up the Indeps and excise the Coterie of Cakes: as opposed to the changes to Ravenloft and Spelljammer, where I...

D&D 5E Let's Catch Up With The D&D Planescape Videos!

The description of the Harmonium ties for me with the description of the Coterie of Cakes.

Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse Review

If you're really going to take the position that "nerds shouldn't argue on the internet about the minutiae of things they're passionate about", then why shouldn't Morrus shut the site down and save on the hosting bill?

Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse Review

I agree with you, but - and I very much have rose-tinted glasses here - that feels to me like moving towards an Eberron-style “a Planescape campaign starts with Sigil and the Lady existing, and the Dustmen, Doomguard, Harmonium, and Sign of One are all hanging out” style of opening.

Planescape Adventure Atlas: The Mortuary, on DnDBeyond and a WotC video.

As @Parmandur and I were discussing the other day, “five books a year” feels fine if maybe even a little anemic, but “one book in March and all the rest in the fall” hits quite a bit differently.
