    Thanks, Wulf. This is helpful.

[D&D 3.5 homebrew] Welcome to The Fold

Well, I wouldn't worry about it too much, kildar, as our DM seems to have gone AWOL. :erm:

[D&D 3.5 homebrew] Welcome to The Fold

If our DM comes back and things pick up, I may stay in the game; but I'm going to need a lot more than what we've currently got to get engaged.

[D&D 3.5 homebrew] Welcome to The Fold

I think I'm going to bow out of this one. I've got a lot going on and I can't justify time for a game that, like Shayuri, just isn't "grabbing" me.

[D&D 3.5 homebrew] Welcome to The Fold

I'm feeling the same way. Araciell, if you're going to run a sandbox type of game, then you're going to have to give us more to go on. If you have an adventure in mind, I'd like to get to it. I don't mind some character interaction stuff, but I don't want to sit around in the tavern all day...

I hear Athas from Dark Sun is rather toasty. ;)

(Group A) Welcome to The Fold IC (Group A)

Someone doesn't like dwarves, the woodsman thinks to himself. Stone continues drinking and chatting with his companions, but his curiosity getting the better of him, the half-orc also attempts to listen in on any conversation amongst the dwarves. Maybe they've got some fine tales of adventure...

While I hesitate to ascribe too much power to one person, I do think that Monte has invaluable insight on D&D after designing 3.0 and running a very successful OGL/d20 company after that. I think a very small group that included him, Erik Mona, and perhaps one or two others would be absolutely...

(Group A) Welcome to The Fold IC (Group A)

Stone laughs and he slams his mug down. "And I remember the time I rutted with the king's daughter while a dozen skeletons looked on." The half-orc continues chuckling for a moment and then looks around. "You know, I would have expected this place to be a bit busier. Is there anything going on?"

    Anyone Interested In GMing Golarion?

I'd definitely be interested as a player, but I don't have the time right now to be running a game.

(Group A) Welcome to The Fold IC (Group A)

Stone runs a hand through his tousled black hair. "I think you're both liars," he says with a chuckle. "You'd both wet yourselves if you dealt with a real skeleton." The half-orc's earth-tone clothes are dirty and full of patched holes, their normal state. His dark eyes dart around the entire...

What WotC is thinking, though, is that since more people play than DM, it is smart to put out books that target players. The audience is bigger. Whatever you think about the ramifications of the strategy, it is hard to argue with their financial incentives for their actions.

    Non-WoD vampire games?

Monte Cook's World of Darkness, while ostensibly a WoD game, is completely different from the "regular" WoD line. It makes use of a heavily modified d20 system and is pretty dang sweet if you ask me. You can play vampires (or werewolves or mages or hunters). Check it out.

Judge backs Fox's rights to Watchmen

Not a chance. There is too much money to be made. They will work out an agreement of some sort even if neither side likes it.
