In both the 3E and 3.5E SRD (I don't have the DMG page numbers ;)) there's a weapon enhancement called Bane, and one of the types for Bane is undead... unless you're referring to something else ;) (Just trying to be helpful, that's all :D)

Should work just fine. And a nice advantage that using the plexiglass has is that you can put together a map of your own, put it under the plexiglass and have an instant "gridded" (is that a word? ;)) room for use in your game whenever you please :D

IMO, having just the one stat is a good way to deal with it. People want to play a fantasy game to be something they aren't (or maybe something they are with a twist). High Charisma does not have to equal good looks (just as low charisma does not have to equal poor hygiene or looks), but...

On a more serious side... I think it's difficult to really determine if a DM who requires all players to be of a specific alignment (good in this case) is doing it because of limits to DM and/or story-writing ability without having played with said DM. For the games I run, I am pretty open to...
