    Flightless Kenku?

They flew (clumsily) in 2nd edition. They were also mute, which I thought was a nice schtick.

Can You Guys Help Me Get My Head Around Chaotic Neutral? Now with Bonus Material!

It's not that CNs don't care (if either party is someone they know, they certainly care), it's that they recognize that they can't control everything (and its more fun that way). The two parties should both have been more careful, but who are we to dictate their actions? As for the Khayal, they...

Can You Guys Help Me Get My Head Around Chaotic Neutral? Now with Bonus Material!

Chaotic societies don't have traffic laws. When someone inevitably gets runover... A CG society is more likely to ostracise the offender than punish him. A CN society shrugs and says ':o:o:o:o happens.' A CE society points and laughs.

Monte Cooks WoD is for 3.5

Geez, I've been thinking for years how I would do the WoD if I were in charge. Who do I need to talk to to about writing David Schwartz's World of Darkness?

    I am not Wil Wheaton

No, but I want to be Wil Wheaton when I grow up.

    Errata: Do You Care?

For me errata that makes the rules more accurate (to do what it should do) is more important that errata that makes the rules more precise (correcting invisible things).

Who Else Thinks This Chick is Hot?

It's clearly a picture of a cosplay girl being forced to listen to a geek talk about his character.

What do you think of Modrons?

They make up for the orphanages and nunneries when they get to the Lower Planes and trample over torture chambers and drug dens.

Have you ever found employment while in a bar?

As far as I can tell no industry business actually takes place at GenCon, it all happens at the bars around GenCon. So, short answer: yes. :)

    How did you start?

A FLGS didn't get me into gaming, but it did get me to buy stuff I might not otherwise have looked at. I'm for supporting FLGS: it's not just the product, it's the experience.

    Monte Cook and Levels

I don't know about Monte, but I like levels becuase it means character abilities have mimumums and maximums. For example, BAB bonus can't be more than a character's level or less than half his level. No junior fighters who are expert killers, but can't do anything else, and no archmages who...

How close is your gaming group to "Team America"?

I said it before and I'll say it again: the morality of D&D is perfectly summed up by a three word phrase word from that movie. Unfortunately, none of those words are Eric's grandma friendly.

Lamest Creature You've used to good effect in your campaign

Short while after the Cube, still in Pandemonium, the PCs encountered a village of helpful gnomes who offered to cure them. Two things the PCs didn't realize: 1) the gnomes were evil 2) they didn't have clerics - but they did have illusionists. Next encounter: "You get hit. Make a save vs...

Lamest Creature You've used to good effect in your campaign

I've also had fun with the Gelatinous Cube: Tunnels of Pendemonium... a gelatinous cube with a skeleton floating upright within it... fighter, only seeing a floating corpse, says, "I charge!"... fails his save vs. paralyzation. It's moments like that that DMs live for.

Are high attributes more fun then low attributes?

I voted high stats, only because high stats mean more options, and having options is fun. That said, as long as the stats fit the mood of the game, I don't care if they are low or high.
