I almost said "1E - Cavalier." But as I had only allowed one NPC to be a cavalier in my campaign, I didn't. It was a great subclass--especially on horseback.

I got too frustrated with being a player in the games I was playing. Several of the players asked me to DM a new game. I emphasize story and character development over combat.

I played B1 then ran B2 five or six times. After that, I ran my own modules. Re: B1 and B2 "No." They're just not my style any more. I played through Hackmaster™'s versions of them both and didn't enjoy them.

The Avatar Series for Forgotten Realms have got to be the absolute worst example of "Participation Trophy" modules. I spent hard-earned money on those and I'm still mad about it. :mad:

My 3 int 4 wis half-ogre (?) Al Qadim fighter found (was given the Mattock of the Titans) by the DM. I never used it to attack because "It's a shovel and I already got a sword!" to drive one of the other players crazy. But I dug a lot of brand-new tunnels in dungeons! 😜 Good times.
