D&D 5E Would a "lucky guy" class fit your setting?

I thought I would repost this - the Fool class. It was my original contribution to the thread, and I think it answers to most of these demands (plus I'd like feedback). The main mechanics are: Luck points, as per the "lucky feat". These are what make the character class unique compared to other...

D&D 5E Would a "lucky guy" class fit your setting?

The same would apply to the Fool character, and its cats, pikes, and other benefactors. I disagree. Just because they are not normal and speak does not constitute a valid reason to let them go. The son (the future Marquis de Carabas) in Puss lets the cat live with no guarantee that the cat can...

D&D 5E Would a "lucky guy" class fit your setting?

I was referring to the third son who inherits Puss rather than Puss himself. Does he simply just do what Puss says? It's a matter of perspective - does the warlock simply do what the patron says? As a coherent literary, mythological, and folklore archetype, the "lucky guy" has a better claim than at least half the classes in the current edition of the game. All the fairy tales about fools, younger sons (Puss in Boots), 7th sons of 7th sons, god's...

Unearthed Arcana Light, Dark, Underdark - November's Unearthed Arcana

I'm guessing the Deep Stalker Ranger is probably in reaction to the underwhelming response to the Ranger rewrite they put out a couple of months ago - a sop to those who want their Ranger to hit more stuff more better and to be sneakier, but a retreat from the 2d6-always-attack-first-supershaman...

D&D 5E Would a "lucky guy" class fit your setting?

Fool character class I have also developed a homebrew Fool class with a "lucky" feature (attached). It's a bit setting-specific for a Russian-themed campaign, but it can easily be made more generic. (First-time poster here).
