You're giving too much credit to a low level spells, in my opinion. What you're describing would be more like a 4th or 5th level spell.

I've done this several times, especially when I had a character that had a siamese twin...so in effect I was playing two characters in one...I got told several times that I role played with myself too well, which was then followed by laughter at my expense of course. :P

As long as D&D remains in the realm of the eccentric nerd, it will always be the target of normal people's suspicions. Nothing we can do about it but say "what the f*** ever" and move on when confronted about our hobby. Hell, I hear they won't let people in Israel be in their army if they play...

Undermountain was one of my favorite parts of Faerun...hopefully they keep with the original and just update it to 3E and add some new stuff. ^_^

I hear a lot of bitching about the words on the statue being in english. Um, guys...what the hell do you think 'common' is? It's the representation of english in the D&D worlds :P So the statue's inscription was written in common, not 'english'.

That wasn't a familiar, it was a figurine of wondrous power. Hence the reason it turned back to porceline when it was destroyed.

Personally, I gave the movie an 8. I thought it was very well done and was better than the first movie that went to the big screen. I am hoping for a third movie and perhaps an actual series like we saw SciFi do with Battlestar Galactica.

I can say that one of the reasons I don't post at the actual forums here (and at RPG.Net) more often is that there are simply too many people here at EN World and I feel I can't actually get a word in edge wise on most subjects because I don't have 10,000+ posts or that any of my posts really...
