I've been thinking of using the Dragonbane ruleset to play in the Warhammer setting after the huge disappointment (for me at least) of WH4E. How serious was your statement?

I like the idea of ships entering a sphere at the same location, preferably some sort of gate or portal. How are you going to embargo a crystal sphere otherwise?

(haven't read the whole 52 pages) Historically all "half" races were half-human, so I would like an Origin Feat (prerequisite: human) that gives you some traits from another Species, and done.

GMed two sessions of it, and liking it so far. It is easier than Mutants and Masterminds, but crunchier than Icons or Masks, and it hits that sweet spot in between for me. Also, it seems to share a lot of DNA with DnD, which is the game I know best, so it comes really naturally for me to GM it.

I was firmly in the MnM camp for many years… until I tried Marvel Multiverse RPG. Now MMRPG is my go-to supers game. Creating characters of any rank it’s just super easy (especially when I compare it with MnM), but it still retains the right amount of crunchiness. I think I really fell in love...

Maybe Soulbound? You’re basically always at full power for every encounter, almost no tracking resources, and you’re badass AF, theoretically u can kill hundreds of mooks with a single spell already on your first session. And the Lore is awesome!

And get new Heroic Abilities (like, mini-feats) every few sessions!

I’d want a generic species for each monster type (aberration, beast, celestial, construct, dragon, elemental, fey, fiend, giant, humanoid, monstrosity, ooze, plant, or undead.), with a bunch of subspecies. Though that would put me at 14… guess I could put celestial/elemental/fiend together...

I didn’t read the whole thread, but my approach to answer the question would be: as a DM, how many classes do I want to explain to a newcomer when they’re creating a new character? So I’d rather we had the Big Four as basic classes, and then each of them branches out in other 4 at level 3 or...

I did 9 (wow, not bad!), 6 as DM and 3 as player.

4 hours to explore 20 rooms. That’s 12 minutes per room. And a lot of fights. Is it really doable?
