I just need to find the demon lord that fits the best, sometimes in the scenario that are things like "the baron's dungeon is a den of pleasure typical of a worshipper of ..." so I have a name ready when I'm describing the thing. Thanks for the suggestions!

We play in the Birthright setting, already many years. I'm just "borrowing" scenarios from WFRP, since most of the time they fit our campaign style.

We have a couple of hardcore Warhammer fans in the party, I’m not sure they’ll appreciate it… XD

For my low(er) magic DnD campaign I’m converting Warhammer scenarios to DnD. What do you think it’s a good “stand in” among the main DnD Demon Lords for the Chaos Gods? At the moment I was thinking to go for this: Slaneesh = Grazzt Nurgle = Juiblex Khorne = Baphomet Tzeench = Orcus any opinions?

have DMed one campaign of 4e from level 1 to 30, and at level 11 we applied the following house rule: All Monsters have half hit points, but they deal double damage. While being a simple rule, I do realize it's a massive change. But the game worked MUCH better after that.

I've DMed multiple campaigns to level 20, and played in at least 4 (as a barbarian/fighter, paladin, rune knight, cleric) that I can remember. In all honesty, I enjoyed high-level play. Maybe I was blessed with players/DMs that knew what they were doing, and ok sometimes one round of combat...

Writing "evil" on your character sheet and still helping the poor makes alignment just semantics, I guess? Not sure if having the word "evil" written on your friend's sheet will ever come into play, but if it does, he may find himself with some weird situations. "Here is the Sword of Justice...

though inflicting 100 dmg to a single target when you can do 140 to the whole town (meteor swarm) is still a tough choice...

why isn't this spell just "the target suffers 100 (force? necrotic?) damage. Resistance and immunities do not apply to this damage. If the target is reduced to 0 hp, they die" ?

Since we’re into BRP-adjacent games, may I suggest the awesome Dragonbane? it’s d20 based, roll under system, and a perfect streamlining of BRP. It also has a few things taken straight from DnD (death saves, the ability scores, off the top of my head). low magic, highly customazible and ok...

Since GWP and SS are kinda gone, I wouldn’t have an issue in just doubling all damage.
