Different philosophies concerning Rules Heavy and Rule Light RPGs.

I don't want to be free I'm a slave, I want to be chained--that is the point of playing a TTRPG game. Because right now, I'm already free and to play a game is to be chained. I don't respect you're freedom.

D&D General Reification versus ludification in 5E/6E

%.5 hasn't beeing ludified enough. Too many of it'sdesign principles are tied around to verisimilitude.

Different philosophies concerning Rules Heavy and Rule Light RPGs.

Being shackled by the rules is what I'm into--but I hate being shackled to 'reality'. This is why I love and hate Rules heavy games, so many of them are too pre-occupied with boring naughty word like hunger or how many thins you can carry in your backpack(with such dondrum things like water or rope or...

WotC Mike Mearls: "D&D Is Uncool Again"

I want 5e dead my good sir. Constructive is a secondary thing I want, if it's not dead then it can at least be good(or at least, good in my eyes)

WotC Mike Mearls: "D&D Is Uncool Again"

Exactly. I prefer a continuous cycle of dominance, having D&D dominating for so long makes me nothing short but contemptuus of the RPG industry as a whole.

D&D 5E So 5E is the Successor to AD&D 2nd Edition? How and How Not?

5.5e is moving in the same-ish direction as 4e but it's not trying to be 4e(unfortunately). It's moving north but not to antartica, if you get what I mean. Gamey naughty word is just more popular and easier.

Is Losing your Turn The Worst That Can Happen

I am though, in fact I cannot wait until things are even more asymmetrical and think the current design etho is still too simulationist and disgusting.

    Darkvision Ruins Dungeon-Crawling

Yes it does, if we can communicate. Then I guess search parties are a terrible idea in the real world. Ergo, yes you can give advantage on perception checks.

Heroic Fantasy and TTRPG: The Relative Utility of Common Denominator Settings

ALright after reading it more thouroughly this does make a lot of sense because I do say that "You can put a spaceship in a High Fantasy setting, but you can't put a dragon in a sci-fi setting" Note the 'a's there because I don't include works which have those as a main or secondary focus with...
