I actually prefer this more basic story of the flumph to the Pathfinder version, which changed the flumph from a relatively (simple) creature to a species whose life mission it was to help save the universe. The flumph was cool on its own terms, it didn't need a grandiose story to be awesome.

I would prefer 2-4 *IF* 2-4 means one player splat, one DM splat (Monsters/campaign building/other such things) I don't count adventures or proper campaign setting books as splats.

I didn't notice that, good catch. Overall I think the monster choices they made are very good. This is a much better collection of monsters then 3e or 4e had for their first Monster Manual. Or, what 2e had with their original Monsterous Compendium for that matter.

I think they have a lot of 4e baggage - despite originating from 3.5, as well as people feeling they were being forced down our (collective) throats so to speak.

NWN 2 is on Good Old Games. Given the choice between Steam and GOG, I tend to buy from GOG. Though I like both, and have a ton of games from both services.

I've yet to meet someone in person who really cares about Pathfinder Online. And it's not like I don't run into gamers all the time, I'm in the entertainment/video game industry. However, Obsidian making a Pathfinder game, if done right, will be HUGE. This makes me very happy.
