Considering how often Aboleth was mentioned as one of the 'must haves' for the D&D miniatures line I am surprised at the poll results. Pleased (since I have never used one and probably never will and really didn't want to see a huge Aboleth miniature) but surprised.

I've always used minis in RPGs and they are always literal representatrions of where the characters are. I really don't see how it can be any other way.

Is this really surprising that brick and mortar stores are getting out of RPGs. A lot of people are ordering their RPGs from online sources now so most b&m stores see little business in RPGs. Keep saving that 30%!

I'm excited about Savage Tides. Of course it will probably been finished in Dungeon by the time I get my one group through Age of Worms and my othewr group through my Rage of Dragons campaign.

Dragon Magic is one I was a bit leary of when I first heard about it. One look through at my FLGS and I bought it on the spot. The spells, invocations, stuff for the Dragon Shaman all fit into my Rage of Dragons campaign. It's too bad some people can't look past a title of all things. :\

I really don't want to dump the SCAP as my DM bought it specially for us and I am having fun. But I keep thinking about how lucky we have been up to now and the fact that one hit can now fell even our toughest fighter. I emailed my DM so hopefully he will come around.
