    Spell Resistance

Good! I didn't think of spells without saves, but your solution seems fine...

    Monk variant, balanced off warlock

Starwed, I've just noted your creation and i think it's awesome. Can i translate it in italian, and, can i make any change on it, provided (obviously) that i credit you as the original author? The translation might be hosted @ www.5clone.it an italian RPG (mostly D&D) community.

    Concentration, Knowledge (arcana), and Spellcraft

Never seen anything such as this, i think you can simply ditch this use and no one will complain... Oh yes, the psionic focus... Damn focus...

    Spell Resistance

I think doubling the bonus would make them too high, but i'm not sure about it. I think golems should have a very big resistance, such a +15 saving throws bonus, but not any immunity (i hate immunities, they're not fun!)

    Spell Resistance

A heretical proposal: why don't make SR a bonus to saving throws against magical effects? Minor +1, Moderate +2, Major +3, Full +4.

    Concentration, Knowledge (arcana), and Spellcraft

And what about dumping Concentration definitely? The uses exemplified by Hawken can be achieved by Sense motive in some sort of a way. So concentration remains only for casters; this skill is almost mandatory for them. So, making concentration checks caster level checks would be a bad idea?

    Alt rogue: Paths?

Why have you dropped rogue's skill points? They are supposed to be skill-monkeys, they've always been and they currently are. I really see no need for such a change.

Kerrick's collection of "Why not do this?" rules

Don't like it, from a balance point of view. By this rule, mindless undead will have sucking saves, hps et al, while vampires would simply rule more than now. Why don't make all saves 1/2 level, and each class gains a +2 at one save at level one? It's a great bump-up in power, but it's also a...

    The Priest

Do you know they are only more numbers to remembre for the players? Imho they do not grant any improvement to the game. Also, when multiclassing, the normal progressions are already f***ed up; your progressions will be more f***ed up than usual... If you are going to keep many thin-focused...

    The Priest

Sorry didn't read. Where is that written precisely? I did notice, and i don't like it? I suppose you made it that way only to give a third attack, but to make the priest not as combat-skilled as the cleric. Then i suggest you make the progression 1/2 level, as the wizard. It seems a bit...

    The Priest

I would not give to anyone a d4 hitdie. I'd make the range from d6 to d12, maybe linked to bab progression (like PRPG); otherwise, simply bump all the classes' hitdie 1up (the barbarian sticks to d12, i don't think it's a real problem).

    LA Alternative

We could make racial feats that add traits... Maybe not the ability bonuses, but the other features. Every 1st lvl drow is a lesser drow, but he can invest feats to become a greater drow. What about it?

    Revised wizard

Is the strict vancian system necessary? I mean, is this a retrocompatible revision or a simple revision (i hope)? We can try a power point (psionic-like) system for magic, which retains a bit of compatibility but it's not as strict as the vancian-as-is. The wizard should have then some kind of...

Role call: Who's doing new systems?

This is my first post, i'm a total noob :D I would like to create an alternative 3.5 system (going further than pathfinder, that is eliminating the retro-compatibility clause). ATM i'm trying to create a new system, based on the d20. It is called Heart20 (H20, never had a knack for good names)...
