Actually, that's wrong. As written, it is saying the Assassin can choose to kill the target after it's been rendered helpless. It is not implying that the Assassin is supposed to have a choice to kill with the poison or not.

I doubt they refer to Revenents. Revenents have a connection to the Raven Queen by default, Orcus' rival. I doubt that WotC would have originally planned for them to be servitors of an evil god instead.

If there is a Dark Sun race in the PHB3, there will only be one. The book is confirmed to have only 4 races, and we already know 3 of them. But I doubt a DS race will be in it. I'm still expecting Gnolls to be there, updated from their Dragon article the way the Minotaurs will be.

If I were to "fix" thm, which I don't really think they need, I'd relabel them Controllers and leave it at that.

I just noticed something odd about the PPs - none of them have a pre-req other than Assassin, despite two of them having powers or features that affect Shade Form. I wonder if that's an accidental omission, or a hint that the multi-class feat will grant Shade Form?

What the 3.5 WoW game really suffered from was Blizzard screwing over S&S by constantly delaying the books and tying their hands. None of the books ever even got up to post Burning Crusade, even though at least two or three came out after it, and Dark Alliances was delayed for a year or more...

Except that Shadow, the source the Necromancer is most likely to use, will not be in PHB3. PHB3 is Psionics, Divine, Primal. The only way the Necromancer will appear is if it's Divine, which imo would be a mistake, but eh.

Urgh. I was hoping the books would be decent size to justify the price better, but in those Con pics, the wizard book looks pretty thin.
