The older DDEX modules still have to use the rewards as listed. Someone DMing the Hardcovers (even the older seasons) gets DM rewards listed in the most recent ALDMG.

I'd say if they're not currently playing a mod featuring the Burgomaster's home(esp. with a Treasure listing), they could explore it at the DM's discretion, but all the treasure listed in adventure 3 are not present(or have been removed).

If I remember correctly, they plan on doing a separate Faction document or web article for this season. I haven't heard anything on when it will be done, though.

I'll disagree with this and say there are a few great mods, several ok ones, and a few that can be fixed with a little DM work. It can depend, too, on whether your Players/DMs like the Ravenloft setting.
