I enjoyed the demiplane aspect of Ravenloft. It added a suffocating dimension to the whole campaign knowing that even if you get out of one horrible nightmare you're still stuck in the dream. Plus is allowed things to develop naturally or new areas to just appear. Don't know how to do it well...

I haven't been impressed with the new Core. I really haven't been impressed with the new view of the Forgotten Realms. Therefore I'm going to call it that I'm not going to be impressed with their new take on Ravenloft. They need some better writers or thinkers in their world creation ranks.

But, if you have a long-time world devas already have a place in there. I didn't vote, because I'd rather not have either name for the concept that is being asked here. I'd probably call them 'the Blessed' or something like that in my campaign as I call the tieflings 'the Accursed'.

I agree. It's the same thing with Hollywood, why rehash when you can create? Create the next FR or Greyhawk, quit playing with the ones that exist. And as for new stuff, new stuff is still explored for all of the settings, even the out of print, in fan communities like Canonfire.

I voted for 2nd Edition since that was the edition I had the most fun with, but really I'm open to most games. I can't get too into the 3.x/4 fight since I didn't like 3.x enough to really defend it and I haven't tried 4 enough to get an idea either way. Mostly for me it's the further move...
