This implies pretty strongly that a natural 20 is an automatic hit, IMO. I like that the confirmation roll is gone (for my 2e players, it'll be like it never existed).

Perhaps I wasn't clear. (Looking back at my post confirms this; oops.) I'm asking for more, not less. :D I'd prefer to see actual, real 4e crunch, in addition to the 3e-ized versions of the same creatures.

"Cool" article, but I really wish they'd just come out and give us some real 4e stat blocks, instead of just 3e-izing them first.

I know I'm responding to a half-serious post here, but in R&C, they have explicitly stated that the result of a human-tiefling pairing is always a tiefling. Anyway, the amount of conclusions-jumping in this thread is astounding.

When I was 16, I was 6', 130 lbs. And I certainly wasn't anorexic -- quite the opposite, actually.

I'd like to know more about Eladrin and how they fit into the world. Does it say anything about their connection to the Feywild, etc.? I'm trying to figure out how to fit them into my homebrew world, and it's been tough without having any real info on them whatsoever...

I'm really excited about the changes to the wizard and will probably roll one up as my first character. Not sure about what race, though.

I don't care one way or another. If it's not there, I won't miss it. If it is, I'll house-rule it out. No big deal.

There are a few celebs who actually play/have played D&D: Vin Diesel, Matthew Lillard. I'm sure there are more that I'm forgetting, and plenty who just haven't admitted it publicly. :p I can see a D&D ad featuring Vin Diesel being really funny (and successful).

My wife spends more money on her hobby (scrapbooking) than I do on mine... and I play Magic and D&D. :lol:
