I've always liked the idea of the Hutts from Star Wars. There's a lot of alien species in Star Wars that I like. But the Hutts, and the Star Dragons, are the top for me.

This is how I would do it as well. Where they'd be at 9/14 because they still have the five points of damage on them.

Since we don't have the DMG, MM, or PHB, we use my laptop for the SRD. We also use it as a backup for my character sheet, and my DM uses a cad program on it which he makes his dungeons in. It's also a good backup for dice, too.

With the "simplifcation" of the monster format, expanded magic item format, expanded PrC format (including lore information), as well as the aforementioned boxed rules...I have to agree with you. All of the other moves to "increase the speed and easy of play" that WoTC is doing...doesn't hurt...

The new format killed it for me--I can't stand it. I prefure the classic monster format. The NPCs only made it worse. This book, along with many other recent releases, falls into the "Don't even consider" catagory.
