    Modern Military Maps?

Doesn't have to be real places though. I was hoping some game company had already thought of this. World Works has some cool stuff, but I don't need it in 3D. A simple 2D image would be fine.

    Modern Military Maps?

Street level with enough detail to zoom up to mini scale is what I'm looking for. For example, Google Maps can give me a good look at the streets, but you certainly can't zoom up to mini scale using it. I'll be projecting the map, so it's got to be mini scale. Any good high-res images will...

    Modern Military Maps?

I'm considering running a modern military game, with soldiers in Iraq or elsewhere in the Middle East and around the world. Mongoose's Battlefield Evolution miniatures are perfect for this. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anything in the way of maps. Anyone got an suggestions?

Dynamic Excel "Wiesbaden Charactersheet" D&D (v1.11)

BUG: May or may not have been mentioned yet, but the cleric should get all the armor proficiencies. Requests: Also, I understand why you don't want to do this, but I'd LOVE it if the powers auto-populated in the power card sheet. Another request is a place to put magic item info. As it is...

Wizards folding on another lackluster software project? I'm shocked! SHOCKED!

When is D&D Insider actually launching?

Admittedly I've never used it, but I've heard nothing but bad things. White Wolf was doing it before WOTC and was doing it with better prices. WOTC, until just recently, expected people to pay full cover price for PDFs. There are more than a few threads that go over how ridiculous that is...

When is D&D Insider actually launching?

One statement I read on the back of the core books made it clear that every application would be out on release day. :erm: These days I don't believe a word they say about it.

When is D&D Insider actually launching?

NWN doesn't count because it had almost nothing to do with WOTC. It was developed by Bioware, and they are awesome. So yeah... Master Tools eTools Core Rules 1 Magic Online their website their attempt at entering the PDF market ...all colossal failures. If its software, WOTC doesn't have a clue.

When is D&D Insider actually launching?

IIRC, Core Rules 1 was a mess and CR2 wasn't really all that great until the expansion was released. I'm a little fuzzy on those though.

When is D&D Insider actually launching?

WARNING: RANT MODE INITIATED Anyone who gives WOTC one red cent for this "service" an overly optimistic fool. WOTC has failed at every single attempt at co-marketing a software product along side its physical product. And so far, they have given us absolutely zero reason to believe this time...

    H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth - I Have It!

For my part, I'm going to use the mirror the PCs found in the dragon's grave in H1. It's worth a lot, but who's going to buy something like that? Valthruun will suggest that the PCs take it to Thunderspire. He's heard there are people there who buy things like that. So that coupled with the...

    Forked Thread: KotShadowfell wierdness/plotholes.

In the past I often found myself coming up with elaborate back stories to make sense of events. Eventually though I realized there was no way for the players to ever discover the "whys" behind some of the events. And more often than not, they didn't care. Other times, the mystery of the "why"...

Forked Thread: The Lethality of Keep on the Shadowfell (Paging Mr. Mearls or Cordell)

I just can't see how this is possible short of some truly amazing rolls. You know they can only take one Second Wind per encounter right?

    Yeah, it kinda does. :erm:

Forked Thread: The Lethality of Keep on the Shadowfell (Paging Mr. Mearls or Cordell)

In our case, the party all decided to go in the same entrance. They were fighting through the 1st wave when the 2nd decided (after a few rounds) to move around (outside) and come back in behind them, trapping them between the 1st wave and the 2nd. It was a harsh tactic to use on my part, but it...

Forked Thread: The Lethality of Keep on the Shadowfell (Paging Mr. Mearls or Cordell)

That may well be the case. I'm wondering if DMs with newbie players fared any better. Those who played 3e/3.5e probably got used to encounters weighed in their favor.

Forked Thread: The Lethality of Keep on the Shadowfell (Paging Mr. Mearls or Cordell)

Forked from: The Lethality of 4E Has anyone heard anything from Bruce Cordell or Mike Mearls regarding why they put this encounter in the module as it was? Was it a mistake, or was it there to teach players that life in the dungeon isn't always fair and it's ok to run away?
