Scott did say at Gen Con that the current d20 System logo will be retired with the release of 4e, so that could be an indication that the d20 STL will be revoked as well.

The current d20 logo will be phased out once 4e comes out, that much they have stated as a definite. So you can keep writing for 3.5, but the d20 logo we all know and love right now is going away next year.
