I think so. For being 90-something, Christopher Tolkien keeps a keen eye on his father's properties.

I'm trying not to break it down as simply "your die rolling method sucks compared to mine!". Maybe I will understand more once I get to sit down with the rulebook.

I think it has something to do with the Middle Earth license and the Tolkien estate. I think Cubicle 7 is only allowed to make RPG books. Warner Brothers or someone has the Tolkien video game license and that is what they consider Fantasy Grounds for all intents and purposes.

I wish that this was able to come to Fantasy Grounds, like other D&D releases.

I guess I don't understand the controversy either. I've read both sides of the argument. I guess I'll just jot it down to some preferring a mechanic that others do not.
