I'm playing a lot of GTA IV - it will probably dominate my play time the rest of the month. Then I'll go back to PS 2 Madden 2007 (which looks pretty good on my PS3), where I'm playing a team in franchise mode in a league where I completely replaced every team in the NFL. My team has made it...
Agreed - the first race was the toughest - control is more important than speed. The subway mission took me three tries - I ran up a dead end very near the end of following it. I found that a motorcycle was the best vehicle for that particular mission.
For all of the chase missions, I've...
I'd say military. It takes training to know how to load a gun, which is the main hold up. Feats should make it easier to load faster or get accuracy.
One of the characters in one of my favorite series of books, The Baroque Cycle by Neal Stephenson, tells a story of himself and several other...
Exactly; my only changes to the rules are to get rid of the skill check to load a gun, and to simplify the gunpowder creation - using Craft :Alchemy and getting rid of the specific feat needed for it.
Absolutely - I'm thinking of making the number of failures in a skill challenge affect these sorts of things, pending a full reading of the rules, of course. I can see lots of cool applications.
Is there any evidence of any other kind of weapon having a "per encounter" sort of ability? I use firearms in my game, and I'll be looking to houserule in some things once I see (in more complete form) how the weapons work... My 3.5 rules are based on the Iron Kingdoms rules.
I could see running them side by side - but with the chance that failures in one could affect both - for instance, lets say you need 6 successes before 4 failures to convince the thieves guild guy. As DM, I might say that if you have 3 failures, one of them counts against the Dukes skill...
This is a topic for Meta - in fact there's a thread or two there about how things will eventually be subdivided once 4E hits in June. I'm going to move this there, and we're certainly interested in folks' ideas on the subject!
I went to www.zamzar.com and pasted in the youtube link, and then chose the format to convert to (in this case, wave - mp3 requires an additional file to DL for Audactity so I didn't do it that way). Zamzar converts it and sends a DL link to my email. Then I load up Audacity (a free audio...
Why would Hasbro policy have changed since last year? My bet is on PC's theory. Which in turn, does make me somewhat nervous, though at least I don't have to worry about airfare.
Mistwell, Joe - if you feel like continuing your discussion of who said what/when/why, please take it offline. Let's not derail this thread with it.
