Anyone heard anything about when the pre-registration books for Origins will be mailed out? The Web site says April, but that's almost over.

Beginning of "The Mystic's Dream" by Loreena McKennitt. It was used in the movie "Jade" and the miniseries "Mists of Avalon" to create a spooky atmosphere. Also incorporates some chanting -- makes me think of a cult's religious ceremony.

My bards always own, and wear, multiple entertainer's outfits, in various colors. So does my rogue who poses as an entertainer.

In the RPGA Bandit Kindgoms, there is a certain red dragon with a reputation for . . . "breeding" with anything. Even sheep. There is a current BK mod in which the PCs get to fight one of the red dragon's offspring, a half-dragon sheep. Its wool makes nice scarves.

I bought one before the prepainted plastic minis started coming out. It was OK for my metal minis. After I started acquiring and using the plastic minis, I took out all of the foam tray layers and stated carrying little boxes of sorted plastic minis in it as well as Dungeon tiles, map markers...

On average, they are more challenging than core mods. I've learned the hard way it's usually not a good idea to "play up" when playing a BK mod.

For you Living Greyhawk players who have never had the opportunity to play a Bandit Kingdoms mod but would like to, may I suggest you try COR6-20 Shades of Grey. It's not set in the BK, but it plays just like many BK mods.

I usually buy 1-2 boosters, then buy at least one of each individual mini from each set through e-Bay stores.

I hate both these cities. They would have been the first two I threw I off the island. I dislike Sigil less than I dislike Freeport, so I voted for Sigil. But I'm not happy about doing so.

This encounter turned out being a cake-walk for us. We had a spell caster hit it with Ray of Enfeeblement, IIRC, or something that weakened the hydra. Then our paladin, mounted on the druid's dire bat animal companion, did a fly-by for some ungodly huge damage. Then a fireball finished it off...
