The D&D Movie Finds Its Director

Not sure I agree. The brand would still get you attention and a core audience. It's probably easier to market, though perhaps a bit riskier.

The D&D Movie Finds Its Director

There are some small glimmers of hope though, to be fair. Consider these quotes from the Collider-article previously linked to on enworld: Roy Lee It's a bit cryptic, but it seems David Leslie Johnson didn't write the first draft for the script, and the guy who did is a D&D-fan, and a pretty...

The D&D Movie Finds Its Director

Or you could make something awesome and turn everyone's attitude around. It's been done. Not that I think that is what's going on here, though.

The D&D Movie Finds Its Director

Ok. I didn't know any of that. Where is this info from? I was under the impression the legal difficulties were between Sweat Pea and Warner. EDIT: Found that info on my own. You're right, of course. I haven't been paying attention. Anyway, everything they're doing gives me the impression that...

The D&D Movie Finds Its Director

Seems Wizards have an exceptional talent for choosing the wrong people to work with (outside of the actual ttrpg sphere, that is). Project Morningstar stranded, n-Space went bankrupt, and now this movie... there is just no way this is going to be good.

OD&D OD&D Now In PDF on DnDClassics

You know, I'm a bit tempted to dig up an old dial up just for the sake of downloading these books through it.

Is TOMB OF HORRORS the Worst Adventure Of All Time?

What? You never played like that before? That's TRUE old school playin'. ;-)

Is TOMB OF HORRORS the Worst Adventure Of All Time?

Interesting that the guy kills his players and laugh in their faces and then blames the module for the loss of his friends.

Which Games Were Most Played On FANTASY GROUNDS In 2015? (Hint: D&D!)

Yeah, but isn't that the case with the other systems they support as well? Anyway, I didn't mean to imply that they deliver a bad product or anything like that. It seems top notch.

Which Games Were Most Played On FANTASY GROUNDS In 2015? (Hint: D&D!)

Looking at the chart, it seems like FG has gotten a massive boost in membership numbers due to gaining the official license for 5e. Insane boost, in fact.

OrcPub Is An Unofficial Online Character Generator for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition

This is really fantastic work! Very smooth interface. I would really like to see the finesse feature implemented somehow. As of now, it's only possible to use strength as attack and damage bonus. Also, it would be really nice to have a roll down menu for the personality traits, ideals, bonds...

Here Come The PRESTIGE CLASSES! Plus Rune Magic!

Seems like modern Norwegian, actually. Only kalt should be kaldt.

Here's That SCAG Table of Contents!

I feel more or less the same way. I really want those new character option though, so I might just buy the book anyway. Makes me feel like I'm being tricked into buying stuff I don't need. Not a very fan friendly strategy, in my opinion.

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Another New Ranger Variant

Yes. Like I said. Both those and other types of rangers should be among the options available.

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Another New Ranger Variant

But that's a very modern idea. Though I think that kind of ranger has it's place, and those who like it should be able to play them, I don't like the fact that the concept has been baked into the basic concept of the class. That makes it impossible (or at least a bit clunky) to play a ranger...

New D&D Movie To Go Ahead - Produced By Lego Movie's Roy Lee

Wrath of the titans... my god... this will be horrible. Not that I would expect anything else from a d&d-movie.

    D&D Fanzine, some feedback please?

Just had a quick look at this, but it seems pretty good! I like the layout and design. It looks good, while being clear and readable. I also like the way you set it up. The fact that the issues seem to be put together in the same way, centered around a theme and with the same type of content...

    Brewing Up Sorcerer Origins

Abyssal origin Here's my take on an Abyssal Bloodline. The Hellfire feature was stolen from a post by Afrodyte in another thread, so I won't take credit for that. Abyssal Bloodline Demonic Ancestor. Your demon blood strengthens your body and grants you resistance to cold, fire and lightning...
