    Favorite scenes from cartoons? [spoilers]

Serious moments: The end of Cowboy Bebop. Most of the last two episodes acually, but mainly "Bang." Not so serious moments: The entirety of Duck Amuck, and the Duck Dodgers cartoons. 'Disentigration proof vest'-classic!

    Best fight scene?

Well, if we want to bring Discworld into it, I've always liked Granny vs. the vampyres and Mort vs. Death. I'll mention Miles Vokorsogian's courtship of Ekaterina. While not technically a fight scene, it certainly was... martial.

    First Fantasy Novel/Series You Read?

Hmmm.... I've been reading fantasy as long as I can remember. The first was either the Chronicles of Narnia, or Half Magic, by Edward Eager. Pretty sure it was Half Magic, come to think of it.

Celebrity D&D Sightings - Matthew Lillard

Oh! And Vin Diesel stars as the noble librarian, who creates the page to tell the world the truth about 3.0.... Sorry, Eric, but the idea of Vin playing a librarian makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.

    Movies that take you back.

I'm 25 (at least I will be in a few hours), and most of the movies mention make the list. I'll just add... The Hobbit- Yes, the animated version. I can see all the problems with it... but as a kid I loved it. I taught my Girl Scout troup to sing 'The Greatest Adventure'. Bedknobs and...

Need a list of fantasy books that have thievery in them

The Elenium (The Diamond Throne, The Ruby Knight and The Sapphire Rose) by David Eddings features several thieves. Same with the sequel series, The Tamuli (Domes of Fire, The Shining Ones and The Hidden City).

    D&D vs. Real Life

In D&D, I nimbly dodge the ogre's attack, tumble between his legs, and sheath my rapier deep into his kidneys, with nary a scratch on my outfit. In real life, I trip over everything. In D&D, I crawl through the sewers, fighting rats and oozes, making my way to the center where I confront the...

    Memorable movie speeches.

Well, if we're looking at Babylon 5, Ivanova's got some wonderful speeches. "Ivanova is always right. I will listen to Ivanova. I will not ignore Ivanova's recommendations. Ivanova is God. And if this ever happens again, Ivanova will personally rip your lungs out. Babylon Control out. [Sigh]...

    Game Bloopers and Quotes

Quotes from our old Arcana Unearthed game. Most are OOC, but still funny. The group consisted of a giant warmain, a human turned mojh akashic/magister, a spryte wind witch/hawk totem warrior, a human greenbond, and a litorian winter witch/unfettered. ****************** Giant: So we have crew...

    Let's play CALVINBALL!!

Yeah, Firefly was great. I've heard so many people (including my parents) say "This show is awesome! Why didn't I hear about it until after it was cancelled?" Because this is the same network that cancelled Dark Angel as it was becoming good again, and Brisco County Jr, and Wonderfalls, and...

    Which D&D Novels to buy?

Well, when I was twelve years old, I really enjoyed the Dragonlance Chronicles and the Legends series. And though I can now say that the most of the books is awful, at the time there were stories that I liked. Weasel's Luck and Galen Beknighted spring to mind. From Forgotten Realms, I'll agree...
