PM: After the BOOOOOOM!!! [Mutants & Masterminds 2e] -- 1 Open Slot

Okay, I'm gonna go with this. I don't have all the characters made just yet nor a blurb written out but that's not an issue. I'll blurb it up by Friday. I should probably pick a system, too... EDIT: Since I've already done a music/band-based game I'll scratch that part of the adventure...

What should I run? What are YOU going to run? What do WE want to play?

I figured Rel would run something although he normally does so in the AM. I'm actually a little surprised more regulars haven't popped their heads in yet. Anywho, I'm sure it'll all work out just fine. :)

Did ya' like Dominion? Try Thunderstone.

Whatever it says on the monster card under BATTLE. Lots of times, nothing. It just wastes a turn essentially.

In that case, someone can run in and just lose to a monster so it goes to the bottom of the deck. If someone doesn't want to do that then getting stuck at the start is just part of the game. I have no problem when that happens. Just gives me more time to develop my deck while I know my...

Soooo, are Psion and myself the only ones running afternoon games?

    AM: Danger Patrol! (Danger Patrol)

I'd say it's more about having fun. If the creator says go with 4, that's more than good enough for me. I was just curious. I know that it doesn't seem like a big difference but that one person can absolutely tip the scales of how much fun everyone has, like you said above. :)

    AM: Danger Patrol! (Danger Patrol)

That sounds kinda odd. Is it that player intensive?

PM: After the BOOOOOOM!!! [Mutants & Masterminds 2e] -- 1 Open Slot

My current notion is a romp very loosely based on the videogame Brütal Legend set after the Bomb where hell has literally been unleashed on earth. The characters are a metal band that were at ground zero of a massive explosion/catastrophe. They survived and gained some cool mutations and other...

PM: After the BOOOOOOM!!! [Mutants & Masterminds 2e] -- 1 Open Slot

Aw nuts ... the world as we know it just ended in a rain of nuclear fire. Then the bad stuff started happening! It began with the portals to hell popping up all over the place bringing with them weird structures straight out of a bad heavy metal video. Next, demonic possessions and an army of...

    Which is better CRPG?

No need for that. It's just a poll. ;)

What should I run? What are YOU going to run? What do WE want to play?

As I said over at CM, I'm thinking of running a sequel to my 'Escape from the Cronus' sci-fi game from about 2 year back. I will not be using d20 Modern if that is the game I run. Perhaps Savage Worlds, M&M2e or Star Wars SAGA. A system with more of a whiz-bang action punch to it is what I'm...

    Which is better CRPG?

What does that have to do with Dragon Age? Or NWN?

Yeah ... but then I'll know what's going on. Maybe.

Did ya' like Dominion? Try Thunderstone.

It's worth noting that each of the level 3 heroes in each pile (2/pile) is worth 2 VPs. That's 16 VPs up for grabs if you level up a character twice. I've even had games where they could be purchased straight up. :) Same here. We played our third game tonight and had no trouble with them. The...

I'm gonna try and run a less genetalia-oriented game this time.

Interesting. I thought the basic setup had a good amount of variation with the critters. The rogue (2nd LV thief) forces a discard. I don't have a huge problem with non-direct interaction with the other player(s). The limited resource pool is enough for me. I found the amount similar to many...
