And you still think you know better than Lisa Stevens and Paizo's marketing team about the market share target for the 2nd edition of a game they have been successfully selling for a decade without having any of the real marketing & research data they have?
I think the audience they are targeting based on their own words is people looking for a modern balanced complex rpg. So I think their book size is appropriate for that audience.
"Rules Light" is very open to interpretation, but I don't consider neither 5e nor C&C really light. Dungeon World may be the lightest you can get in a not retro clone format that is still close to D&D/Pathfinder

What are you talking about? From PF1’s bestiaries we have:
* Shadows, Spectres & Wights with charisma 15
* Ghasts with charisma 16
* Ghuls with charisma 18
* Geists & Wraiths with charisma 21
And the list goes on
I'm not talking about vampires.

Skeleton & Zombie: Cha 10
Ghoul: Cha 14
Shadow, Spectre & Wight: Cha 15
Ghast: Cha 16
Ghul: Cha 18
Geist & Wraith: Cha 21
