I grabbed the campaign case just for the clings 😇 Anybody want a cling-less campaign case?

D&D General Best dragon-related adventure (any edition)

Ok, I can see that happening, but that's not the reason you provided initially.

I like props though. I have the Green Ronin deck from some time ago.

D&D 5E Book of Many Things pre order up.

This thing turned up into my campaign. It killed one character, and screwed up at least another player. By the end of the session, I had laid out a series of quests to undo the damage. By next session, I chalked the whole thing to a shared dream, and had the whole carnival disappear from town...

D&D General Best dragon-related adventure (any edition)

Except all Chromatic Dragons in 3.5 had Dex 10, so at most it could do only one AoO per round. I think your group was being overly cautious

D&D General Best dragon-related adventure (any edition)

I ran this for my group when it came out, and we played it all the way to the end. It's a really fun adventure with many memorable encounters.

D&D General Thoughts on running Rappan Athuk (and deadly megadungeons in general) [SPOILERS]

It's one of my favorite megadungeons. I made the party the spearhead of some religious coalition, that way the party had an easy way to get replacement characters and some resources available. I ran it for PF1e. It was tough. Only one character death, but we didn't get too deep, only to purple...

D&D General BG3 Massive Spoiler Thread

I think Orin is the most hateable Villain in BG3. I really liked Ketheric because it was a more developed character and JK Simmons was great.

    D&D (2024) Playtest 8: Cantrips

Only a Sith deals in absolutes! Seriously speaking, it really depends on the situation. Having said that, I don't understand why forcing someone to like you through magic is something most people would be happy to be the recipient of. I don't see it personally. If someone did that to me, I'd...

    D&D (2024) Playtest 8: Cantrips

A fellow player used Friends in our game last night, no issues, but he knew what to expect and had a plan.

    D&D (2024) Playtest 8: Cantrips

I don't see it as a punishing trap, it's still usable. You can knock the creature down, you can escape into a crowd before the minute expires, you can wear a disguise before you use it, and etc. There are many solutions to that issue.

    D&D (2024) Playtest 8: Cantrips

I don't like true strike. The radiant dmg is nice but I prefer more help landing the hit. Don't like losing the advantage in shocking grasp. Love new acid splash, I have picked it up a few times in the past, but now will probably use it more.

D&D 5E Should martial characters be mundane or supernatural?

That's an opinion, I respect it, but I don't share it. Also, do they get magical treasure or not? seems like you're ignoring this part of the equation.

D&D 5E Should martial characters be mundane or supernatural?

A champion or a battlemaster fit the bill, and they look good to me

In my first play thru, I ended up killing Minsc, but on my second one he is at my camp. He has a lot of dialog, and I didn't notice it was Mercer.

D&D (2024) Is Counterspell less frustrating now?

There has been a way to interrupt casters while casting spells at least since 2e, it existed in 3.5 too. It just happened to come in the form of taking damage while casting. Counterspell is the only way to prevent a spell being cast in 5e, and it's necessary.
