Necromancer Q&A: Let's ask Orcus some questions!

Free download stuff It became more problematic when our (translate free) staff layout guy had IRL problems and had to quit doing it. I cannot ask Mike Chaney to do freebies (he does this stuff for a day job)...and the effort is so huge to get a real freebie online. We also increased book size...

Has the release of d20 material slowed down?

dropping d20 Necromancer won't. We are in for the long-haul...D&D, d20, modules, adventures etc. Never fear; we'll stick around as long as we don't lose money. Sure stuff has dropped in sales, but we are more than solvent (even if just barely). We need the occasional Tome or City State to...

    DriveThruRPG Exclusivity

forced? No one compelled us to work through this method, we chose to. The reason? 1) its 0 effort for us 2) its more secure 3) we really do not care at all about pdf sales, we sell books. Biut if someone wants a pdf, great. Bill Webb

    Reaper/Necromancer Games question

Necro and Reaper Actually, they have done many of our models from TOH, Vampires and Liches, and a few other books. Ron has even crafted my iconic PC models that we use at conventions for pregen's...check out my favorite wizard model...with a 2-bladed sword!

    Mongoose - Disappointed

Class Act Matt and the boyz will certainly take care of you if there are any defective copies. We lost most of our profits on Tome of Horrors due to the same thing. Rather than smash Mongoose (or us!), ask and ye shall receive. We are all very concerneded about the quality of our productrs...

[Necromancer Games] Make Sure to Meet Us at GenCon!

Actually its unlikely we will ever reprint them. We are simply producing too many great new books. Rappan Athuk may get a facelift sometime in 04/05, maybe even as a hardcover and expanded deal; but no promises. The real don't miss books that are nearly gone are Vault of Larin Karr and...

    Straight Talk from Gene Weigel

Thanks! I just wanted to thank Gene for all the free publicity. I never post anything (well, rarely) but this guy just lives to make Rob look bad and to give us free press. I'm glad to hear he thinks so little of Erik Mona too; glad to know I am in good company (after reading the PPP boards...

Can someone explain what "1st ed feel" is?

1st Ed; straight from Tsathogga's mouth Ok; Hi all; Bill Webb here. The Colonel has it very well stated. 1st edition can have as much/or as little "fluffy" bits as the individual DM wishes. The main difference i see is two-fold. One--its low fantasy. No godlike PCs saved by godlike NPCs at...
