And creatively sblocked, no less! My thought was to just put the whole thing behind one, but this is much better. Easy to find what you want and access it.

Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil

Jerrick frowns. He doesn't like the man much. He was rude, and now he is opportunistic. Still, he might be useful. Jerrick says "Well, what do you think, Hedwan?" Hedwan, with his decidedly more cynical mind, was better at both reading human nature and hard-nosed negotiation. It's hard to...

(I'm paraphrasing here. :p) You are, of course, correct. It might be a good idea to have a vague idea about how fast an army can move, though (which is pretty easy to figure out, since movement by the day, hour and minute is in the PHB).

Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil

Jerrick shrugs. "Lots, but only some matters. The moathouse looks like it's worth checking out, with either undead or hobgoblins bandits, depending on who you ask. The Captain of the Guard said the first, and he seemed like a solid fellow, so that's my guess."

Edena- Sblock tags are easy. You just type (replacing parenthesis with brackets): (sblock) This text will be hidden. (/sblock) And you get this result: This text will be hidden. High magic is High magic, if I've got it right- researching 10th+ level spells is not something that...

[ic] nameless III: lost and found

"Aye," says Cromwell. "We will. But first, the reason we came here- which one of you has the letter?"

    Crossed Paths, Part III

"We can't cross the water; we best go back the way we last left, when we went to the village."

    Polis: Welcome to the City

That running or walking? If walking, do we hear them well enough to run? Mostly I'm figuring out how to write the IC part. ;)

[ic] nameless III: lost and found

"Did you simply chose this place to meet, and then found these... things here?" Cromwell frowns. This must be investigated, and not only because Kettenek has been defied. Anyone who raises such things is a menace.

I give up my claim to all of the Uleks, since they are more sensical with Greater Nyrond and the Keoland-based faction. I mostly wanted them if no one else did. :) Although perhaps I have some control in the Uleks, paticularly the principality (yeah, Celene screwed 'em in the Greyhawk wars...

(IR) Announcing a New Strategic Roleplaying Campaign of Epic Proportions!

The Living Greyhawk Keoland website (which you kind find, among other things, at the link WR provided) has lots of useful information, including a brief overview that gives you everything you'll probably need to know, and the lots of specifics if you want to go in-depth. That's here. Also from...

(Adventure) The Burning Tower (Knight Otu Judging) [Concluded]

Fant continues her duel with the smoke, trying to keep its smoky claws from her and distracting it enough that Gorefoot can land another blow. A thought occurs to her- if she can distract it, other can as well. And if the smoke will only cause them to cough, and not to suffocate as she had...

[ic] nameless III: lost and found

Cromwell gives Nate his waterskin, and gestures Craddoc over to take care of the man. He's still not quite sure what happened. He goes to the horse and tries to calm her down. "She does not belong to me," he says, trying his best to steady her, "if she is a fine beast, thank him." He leads...

(IR) Announcing a New Strategic Roleplaying Campaign of Epic Proportions!

Sounds good! The other place I'm looking is Canonfire, but that seems to be a TON of info which you have to sift through. here is something that looks useful (it's a map, and overview of the history of, the entirity of Oerth!), and what it says about the Flanaess fits with what I knew, which...

(IR) Announcing a New Strategic Roleplaying Campaign of Epic Proportions!

I just (via e-mail) tried to enticed a player of mine to join through a combination of threatening to break his knees and offering him XP. I promise to not use these to influence him if he actually plays. :p He loves Machiavelli, which means he's a good bet to play, although he make take some...

(IR) Announcing a New Strategic Roleplaying Campaign of Epic Proportions!

I think I've got a pretty good handle on the rules, for the most part (this is not surprising, as I seem to have a strange ability to learn game systems really quickly. Which is why I gotta ask: How come I'm no good at math, memorizing dates, or languages? ). If it's OK with serpenteye...

    Polis: Welcome to the City

ooc: I would suggest to the DM that, even if you don't want to be doing all the dice rolls (which is the usual PbP practice), things would speed up considerably if you would make reaction rolls, such as initiative, con checks, spot checks, etc. If a player says "I attack," he makes an attack...

(IR) Announcing a New Strategic Roleplaying Campaign of Epic Proportions!

No, I think I'll leave you alone on this one. :p I might argue the finer details of your in-game rational, but your out-of-game one is entirely reasonable, and about what I expected- no, magical research isn't transferable, and yes, you could spend your own PPs on other people for industry and...

(IR) Announcing a New Strategic Roleplaying Campaign of Epic Proportions!

Figure that if an anti-tech or tech-dampening field can be created, its benefits are included in the combat bonuses from high-level magic. RE: The Theocracy of the pale: Hmm... it is an intersting question what a theocracy would do in the sudden absence of the actual diety in question...

[ic] nameless III: lost and found

In normal D&D, undead are destroyed at 0 hp, although you could change this as you like. "All over," says Cromwell over his shoulder, watching Nate carefully. What had come over the man? "Was anyone wounded?"
