[Adventure] The Lost Treasure of House Cannith (Judge: Evilbob)

If you are talking about assisting in a new perception check, the same deal as before would apply. You will be taking a slow and methodic approach. It will take you one hour. However, I will add an addendum for you. All assists must come before the final roll. For each person who...

[Adventure] The Lost Treasure of House Cannith (Judge: Evilbob)

354b attempts to open the lock and fails, causing poison gas to issue forth from the walls again. His power seems less than effective. Certainly it doesn't open the thing. Poison Gas vs. Fort on 354b - 1d20+6=25 Kaelan - 1d20+6=22 For 1d10=7 Poison damage each Kaelan: HP: 33/41 Surges: 3/9...

[Adventure] The Lost Treasure of House Cannith (Judge: Evilbob)

As Karananak presses against the loose brick, it slides back into the wall about a quarter of an inch. He can hear a quiet click when he cannot push is back any further. When he removes his hand, the brick slides forward again to it's original position.

The group takes a moment to patch themselves up and breathe before Karananak gets up and does a thorough search of the room. Although he doesn't manage to find much, he does spot something the others hadn't seen before. Karananak Perception to search room - 1d20+12=24 Check below is the same...

No one can aid you at this time, since they've all already made this check. They'll only be able to aid your perception check if you take the extended check I mentioned earlier after you make your initial check.

Vertexx seemed clear that he wanted to rest before looking around. Otakkun already made his search roll and he agreed that a short rest was in order, since no one else had posted objecting, I saw that as you all taking a rest. I'm giving everyone another 24 hours to respond with their surge...

If you'd like me to roll it, I certainly will. I'm happy to try my luck for you. Just go back and edit out what you found in the 22 block from your last post (whether I roll or you do) and you can repost later based on what you find. :)

[Adventure] The Lost Treasure of House Cannith (Judge: Evilbob)

You may want to reconsider the passive check. As indicated in the rules in the OP of the adventure, the stacked sblocks mean it's one roll used for all of them and you open as many as you can with what you rolled. Using your passive check on the 22 means you forfeit your ability to see the...

[Adventure] The Lost Treasure of House Cannith (Judge: Evilbob)

Karananak lands adeptly on the blue tile in front of him and then promptly loses his balance as the floor slides to the side underneath him and falls on his face, but quickly crawls forward out of the gas cloud. He then stands up and joins the others in the laboratory as the poison gas...

You have made your opinion of my trap design quite clear. Continuing to chastise it and/or me will not make it change mid-stream, so I'd appreciate if we could just move on at this point. The reason you fall forward is because the tiles were rolling. This happened to 354b in the beginning as...

[Adventure] The Lost Treasure of House Cannith (Judge: Evilbob)

The swarm moves forward onto the gold tile and the floor log-rolls under it's feet. It manages to maintain balance in that space, but the new tile that appears is also a gold one. Activating this is too much for the swarm and it falls forward onto the green tile in front of it, causing poison...
