    D&D 4E Paizo and 4e - Vive le Revolution!

Would some of you 3.75 promoters like to answer my questions? I'd still like to hear some :)

The Core Mechanic: New Design and Development

I wonder if your AC advances with your levels, i mean would be kind of strange if your touch AC (your Reflex Defense) advanced with your levels while your normal AC stayed the same.

Keep your filthy points of light away from me!

First, the FR have always been Points of Lightish. Just read the FRCs, especially Elminsters introduction. How you played the Realms is a different beast. Second, as others have already pointed out, RSE have been used in the past to explain rules changes. Heck, i prefer them over massive changes...

    D&D 3E/3.5 Does 4e sound more D&Dish to you than 3e did?

The new Edition seems to bring a sense of wonder back, i assume this based on the news about monsters having more distinctive "monster powers" not just arcane oder divine spelleffects disguised as abilitys. The parts about Gnolls fighting like savage hyenamen, orcs fighting different than...

    Monsters, Monsters, Monsters! Podcast

I liked the parts about the new encounter design system, sounded pretty cool and i just like the sound of Deathknights being Elite monsters ;) The part about the Frostgiants and other monsters was the first thing about 4th Ed. i didn't like. I want my classic giants in the same book for fast...

The Core Mechanic: New Design and Development

Ouch, Dragons crittin' whole groups for double damage sounds pretty harsh. Other than that i'm looking forward for the new defences-system, more intuitive and still D&D flavored. Just on thing bugs me "When a pit suddenly opens up beneath your feet, you make a check to jump out of danger, but if...

    D&D 4E Paizo and 4e - Vive le Revolution!

Actually i have some problems understanding the merrits of a 3.75 Edition. Wouldn't the players who resent 4th Ed. want new third party products to be completly compatible with their game of choice (that would be 3.5)?? Why should they change to 3.75 for a handfull of new books? If a 3.75 Ed...

    Ecology of the Deathknight up

I thought the Deathknight article was pretty good, especially the soul-trapped-in weapon bit. That part really lends itself for some great adventure ideas. I'm also cool with reimaginig the Deathknight as more of a melee threat - giving them special melee related powers helps making them more...

Stephen Schubert's Latest Post-- anybody buy it?

I'll second that. Although i'm waiting eagerly for may to come, i wont buy the preview books in december (mainly because i dont know what kind of content they wil hold and how usefull it will be for actual play). The previews we get now are great and i hope they keep that pace till may.

Stephen Schubert's Latest Post-- anybody buy it?

I just read your post and it made me want to cry. "OMG, WotC wants money for the products they spend money to develop! bla, bla, bla, insert whiney statement about evil corporate politics bla, bla, bla I want 4th Ed. for free now, because otherwise i'm forced to buy their advertisement in december!"
