    Pathfinder 1E Non-Lethal Damage question

The rules are silent as to whether characters know whether damage they've taken is lethal or non-lethal, but I really can't imagine how they could not be. Lethal damage heals naturally at a base rate of 1 point per level every day (twice that with complete bed rest). Non-lethal damage heals...

    Alignments and Calls Requirements/Restrictions

No, he doesn't (even though the player is a liar, and why should the DM feel awkward about pointing that out?). He just has to be willing to retcon the use of the atonement spell. "Oh, your character immediately resumes the bad behavior he supposedly truly repented and desired to set right? I...

    Alignments and Calls Requirements/Restrictions

By the book, the spell would fail under those circumstances: This spell removes the burden of misdeeds from the subject. The creature seeking atonement must be truly repentant and desirous of setting right its misdeeds... Of course, as with everything else in the game, the rules have to be...

    Alignments and Calls Requirements/Restrictions

I agree with you, and I've never really understood players who say they want to play a paladin-like character and then circumvent their code of conduct at every opportunity. When I play a paladin-like character, I follow the code and go out of my way to be "paladin-y" not because the rules say I...

What are some offensive ways to deny an opponent his ability to threaten squares?

It does not (unless you don't need to see in order to pinpoint your foe). You cannot take an attack of opportunity against an opponent you can't "see," therefore you do not threaten that foe. If you can't "see" anyone (because you're Blinded), you don't threaten anyone.

Medium Two-handed Weapon can be used one-handed by Large PC's? Anyone familiar with this rule?

I have to disagree with you there. It's an entirely sensible rule, and the only people I've seen confused by it are the ones who remember that it used to work ridiculously differently.

Pathfinder 1E Question About Keen Weapons

This appears to have changed from 3.5, which did not limit keen to melee weapons only. I suspect that Paizo didn't consider the effect of the changed wording on melee weapons that can also be thrown. In any event, I agree with AR above. It's sensible, consistent with the previous edition, and...

Pathfinder 1E Arcane Sight and Polymorph

As I read it, it is the spell that leaves the lingering aura. As such, it would linger wherever the spell was in effect, which is "on the human," not "in the room." Thus, the lingering aura would remain on the human (and move with him).

Yes. I'm not sure what you're asking here.

Item question regarding Bags of Holding

You blew your Reading Comprehension check. He said exactly that: you do want to count water pressure, but don't want to count air pressure...which is an inconsistent position to take, regardless of how consistently you've taken it. But as I've been saying, it's magic, so logical consistency...

Item question regarding Bags of Holding

I know your question was directed at N'raac, but...you're the one who started this thread, saying: "I know that there aren't any hard and fast answers in the rules. I'm just trying to stimulate some thoughtful discussion." So, to answer your question, the only reason any of us are arguing about...

Item question regarding Bags of Holding

A magic open container? Sure, of course there is. And in the absence of an explicit rule, it's an unresolvable argument.

Pathfinder 1E What's good what's not in PF?

I hate, hate, hate CMB/CMD. But good luck getting rid of it if you dislike it; it's a core mechanic in Pathfinder. Aside from that, I'm mostly pleased with the differences between PF and 3rd. (Except for summoners, of course. They're awful.)

Item question regarding Bags of Holding

I don't think anyone is suggesting it can't happen; just that it shouldn't be the default assumption. But it seems clear that you have a certain play-style that works for you, and that's great. Have fun!

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Players: What would you be playing/buying if PF didn't exist.

I'd be playing 3.5, and buying very little, I guess.

Item question regarding Bags of Holding

N'raac said that if a bag of holding were opened underwater, he would rule that water rushes in to fill it to capacity, but will not overload it--I assume for the same reason that pushing an (upright) empty bucket underwater will cause water to rush in and fill it to capacity, but not "overload" it.

    Neutral good cleric and necromancy

In 1st and 2nd edition, they were necromantic spells.

    Getting the boys back together

I also recommend MapTool. I prefer it without a framework; it starts to feel "video-gamey" and not "table-toppy" to me if there's much in the way of automation.

Item question regarding Bags of Holding

I concur with Dannyalcatraz and Oryan77. It's magic; no need to overthink it.
