    Away a while - what's the situation?

Oh, as for findings... In A Wicked Age is the most consistent fun and greatest game I have ever played. In fact I was a 'game advocate' for it on the Canon Puncture podcast (link). I could rave about the other games, particularly Fiasco, A Penny for my thoughts, and GHOST/ECHO, but In A...

    Community Supporter not showing

Hi... I think this was fixed for me before but something happened after my username was changed. Back in one of the crunch times I for Community Supporter account status that should have left me good through the end of Oct 2012. I paid for 2 more years @ 1/2 off on Mon, Oct 12, 2007. This was...

    Away a while - what's the situation?

Iiiiinteresting. Are there any OGL, d20-based games that are getting attention besides Pathfinder? As for my trip into the outback, I've played a bunch of In A Wicked Age and have also played sessions of each of the following In A Wicked Age Fiasco A Penny for my Thoughts Sorcerer Dogs in the...

    Away a while - what's the situation?

I've been away a while, playing lots of games, but not much d20. What's going on in terms of all things d20? I'm especially curious about licenses and digital offerings. Is there any sign of the virtual tabletop yet? How's Paizo doing?

    Name change request

Hi guys, I haven't posted in a while. I asked for a name change request a few years ago because I wanted to meet more gamers in person. That worked out OK but I find I'm a little too googleable now. Could I ask for a name change to "Ryan Stou'n" ?

What game system have you tried that made you go WOW!

In A Wicked Age totally blew my mind. I had such good experiences playing it that I started bringing it out to play at local meetups, and by playing it I have made many new friends. I love that game to death. The zero-prep thing was the first part that grabbed me, but the amazing stories...

    Frustrated searching (for encounters)

I just want to make clear: I'm not mad at you guys; I'm mad at WotC for screwing up their fan relations that badly. Less sharing and communicating means less D&D meme, less meme means less play.

    Frustrated searching (for encounters)

I have to admit I found 3e more fun to write for... thinking that when I hit something out of the park, it was something I could add to the collective gamer consciousness.

    Frustrated searching (for encounters)

OK, but if it's so easy, why aren't people sharing them? I mean, if I made up 100 wilderness encounters, with color maps and all, I'd share them, in the form of a RPGnow product, or at least a fan site.

So you find a portal to a game-verse - where do you go and what do you bring?

I'm going to the Mouse Guard universe, with a pack full of water, some biscuits, very fine-point pencils, and some post-it notes. I have to write really small so those little guys can read it. The first series of post-its read: "I am a benevolent god." "I deeply respect the ideals of the...

    Frustrated searching (for encounters)

I'm still feeling pretty frustrated. Seems like a pretty normal thing to expect would be out there. I know I could do it myself, but I'm a really busy guy and I was hoping for something I could pull off-the-shelf.

    Frustrated searching (for encounters)

If I'd asked this question 2 years ago, I would have had dozens of products to choose from with prepared stat blocks and encounters. Also, nonlinear modules like Lost City of Barakus. So I'm not blind, it's just that Wizards' relationship with 3rd party publishers/fans has gotten this bad?

    Frustrated searching (for encounters)

All I want is a big stack of good wilderness encounters for the heroic tier. (good means with a map, and some terrain that isn't just flat plain or equivalent) I can't find them at WotC (paging through Dungeon mags articles that don't tell you level until you're in the .pdf, with mostly...

    Greek(/Latin) help

I'm putting together a kind of heroic tier handbook thing for my players, and I was wondering if someone could help me with a latin/greek translation of: The Book of Iron Heroics iroas-sideros-nomicon ? The Book of Forbidden Heroics iroas-koluo-nomicon ? Latin would be cool too, if it sounds...

    About Reveille

I suspected, but decided to go at face value since I knew he'd met some of the other members in person. I also remember the support and concern I got from Enworld when I had health problems a few years ago. Ah well. I don't regret sending well wishes - just like I don't regret sending Gary...

    Pathfinder vs. 3.5?

Having now looked at Pathfinder, I'm decidedly unimpressed. Seems like the design process got pulled off-course at some point, stopped being minimal changes and obvious fixes. I'll be sticking with 3.5 as E6's base if I do the complete E6 book.
